The INKEY List Salicylic Acid Scalp Treatment 150ml

Unfortunately my psoriasis gets extremely bad, covering half my head. A small movement from my head and I’ve flakes falling as though it’s a snowy day. Prescription medication is generally steroid based and it has a negative effect if used regularly. I try to use it only once a week, but in the meantime I needed something to effectively remove the flaky loose skin; it is an embarrassing condition as well as horrendously itchy and often painful. It’s extremely difficult to not scratch. I tried a different product from Amazon with a hefty price tag which was brand for psoriasis. Omg, once applied the stinging was unbearable, which I may have put up with if it helped. I used the whole container as directed and the results were poor. In fact, I’ve used too many different products to count. I was wary of purchasing yet another product, but my son wanted some to lift minor flaky scalp, probably a build up of product on his scalp. I felt even if it didn’t help me, it would hopefully assist him. Im aware of this brand for offering premium products at a low price, which are highly sought after. I used it the day it arrived, although cautiously and awaiting the stinging…but I felt zero irritation, nothing except the cold liquid running through my scalp. It’s a water like substance, therefore take it steady when squeezing the container and use it somewhere appropriately, incase of spillage. I probably left it on double the time by accident as I dozed off. Thankfully no adverse effects. I showered and washed and conditioned my hair as normal and proceeded to blow dry my hair. I was extremely surprised to find my scalp to what I could feel as 100% flake free and my scalp felt clean and smooth. I will add I’d previously applied my psoriasis treatment a few days previously and my scalp was only inflamed and flaky slightly. My hair was also very clean and I had lots of baby hairs sticking out, I’d say this is from dehydration from this product. A major amount of my hair was too dry as I used a lot of this product. In future, I will use a hair mask afterwards. It didn’t ‘treat’ my psoriasis and approximately 3 days later my flakiness and itching started to return. However, I’m extremely happy with the product, it certainly worked as advertised and I will continue to use it as an in between treatment to keep my flakes under control. Fantastic product, very easy to use, excellent results and fantastic value. I will definitely re purchase when needed.

This INKEY lotion is amazing i can't recommend it enough, after years suffering a scalp yeast infection for ever scratching my head it was so irritating and sore, it also continually caused other scalp problems because of blocked pores. Nothing Dr's prescribed did anything to help it or anything else I brought, after reading reviews on this one I thought I'll give a go not really expecting much thinking probably just another snake oil claim, well I was wrong,THIS STUFF WORKS FOR ME, no more scalp problems after the third time of using it, this how I use it after every 2 days I use it as prescribed, then I wash it off with just water in the shower I leave it wet for another 10mins or longer to really soak the scalp while I'm showering, then I use a rubber exfoliating brush with soft rubber spikes on it to exfoliate my scalp, you can buy one on amazon, i kid you not on the first time of doing this sheets of dead skin cells came away from my scalp, i tell you never before using medicated shampoo, creams or anything else removed this off my scalp, i then wash it off with anti dandruff shampoo my hair and scalp feels fresh and so clean now what a relief but after 2-3 days I can feel it coming back again so not a cure but if I keep it under regular control with the same treatment procedure its no longer a problem.

Thin and runny texture makes it spread easily. Didn't cause any irritation on sensitive scalps.

Love this stuff for before washing my hair. Makes my hair less greasy as quick and is helping with my hair/scalp health.

My hair gets oily after a day however I tried this product for the first time and already I. Price a difference as my hair which should have been oily by now is not oily so definitely re buying

It will not remove your scalp buildup or sticky dandruff, definitely helps in flaky dandruff and a but of chemical exfoliation tho! So so product!

This product has been very effective in helping and clearing my scalp problems and this was on the first time application. It is simple to use and I would definitely recommend. It is also cruelty free and leaping bunny what more could you ask?

I’ve been using this scalp treatment for over a year and I don’t have any complaints. It has really helped with dryness on my scalp. You put the treatment on the scalp for 10 mins then wash your hair like normal. I definitely recommend this scalp treatment.

I was googling something that could help with my scalp itching, which barely started a couple months ago. But I also wanted a product that would help my fiancé with his scalp itchiness and his dandruff. If it worked on us both, I was going to use it on my mom who also suffers from dandruff. After a bunch of Google searches this product kept coming up. I started with myself and after two uses my scalp stop completely itching. I used it on my fiancé after I realized it worked on me and zero bad side effects and he no longer has dandruff after three uses. But after the first use, it was a complete difference. His scalp has decreased and how itchy he is. I used it on my mom for the first time yesterday so we’re going to see how it works on her. We have not used it long enough to see if long term it makes a difference but right now I am very happy with the progress. If you suffer from dandruff or your scalp itches for that matter, I would definitely try this. We live in a desert climate so it’s a very common thing. A lot of of us go through so I’m definitely telling a lot of my friends to try this. Glad I found this product.

I have a very specific type of scalp and hair combo (oily and low porosity) that i found this made worse. My sister used it for seboheric dermatitis on her scalp and she noticed improvements and loves it.

Love it, but still have to try a bit longer to see if it helps with greasy hair

En combinaison avec une routine adaptée vraiment c’est pas mal. Une vie gravement malade vous aurez mal aux cheveux. De toute manière ils restent plus propres plus longtemps malgré des soins qui sur moi graissent immédiatement le jour même d’un lavage, plus de volume donc ça cache sincèrement l’effet clairsemé. Je n’ai pas l’impression que des cheveux repoussent mais si le bulbe a pris il n’y a rien à faire. Je suis déjà bien contente de tenir trois jours sans les laver et de bien moins voir l’état des tempes et la finesse du cheveux… Par contre faire attention au bouchon, je vois pas bien et avec peu de force alors qu’il est dur à ouvrir, j’ai cru qu’il fallait couper l’embout 😅!! Non non dévissez bien et ensuite je tire avec une multiprise 🫥

Excellent product, I have scalp psoriasis and I put this on about 10 minutes before I bathe/shower and it loosens those plaques so they get washed away.
