Does not taper to faceted sides
I bought two different punches. This one tapers to round, while the other tapers to six sides. For my purpose the taper to round worked better.

Excellent Punch
I work with a lot of hard steels. Everything from 1/2'' 347 stainless steel to 6'' 41xx series chromoly steel. This punch gets used daily and I have to say I am very impressed. I beat the brakes off this thing and it still remains to hold up. My old punch I would sharpen once a week and re-harden but this one I have not had to sharpen yet and I have owned it for 6 months. Great buy.

Exactly as advertised
Itโs a simple tool and it works well. No problems with centering and the knurl makes it easy to grip.

These are super easy to use. They're sharp. They were the perfect size. A good value for the money. I can use it on many different materials so I'd say it's very versatile. It also had a nice weight to it.
