Good quality and very reliable.
I always wanted to buy an electric scooter, but I don’t know which one to get. Now that I have made my choice of which one to buy here is my thoughts on this electric scooter. The quality of this scooter is very durable. It’s very heavy and the metal bar that is connected to the handle bar is very strong. For the part where you stand on, it’s big enough for my son and I to ride together. My son and I combined are about 240 pounds or so and there is no problem for us to ride together. We got to the top speed of 11 to 12 mph together on this electric scooter. I don’t want to go too fast because there was two of us riding. When I was riding by myself, I got the scooter up to 19 mph. So this scooter is very powerful when your riding by yourself. The battery life on this scooter is very good. With one charge we can use this scooter for a few days. We used about 15 to 30 minutes each time. There is not much noise level for this scooter. The one time when you hear the noise is when you are riding it, but when it’s parked there is no noise. The motor is not very loud. I use this scooter to pickup my son from school and it’s very convenient now that I don’t need to wait in my car at the pickup line. I think it’s well worth the money.

great scooter
I’ll start by saying, this scooter is pretty great, given the price. Build quality is superior. The suspension is awesome. It accelerates quickly. Steering Is smooth. Lights equipped are bright as heck and cover a lot of ground. The LED indicator system is great. Some negatives are that this scooter is heavy as hell. Definitely not very “portable” and light if that’s what you’re going for. I’m a pretty strong dude and carrying this even 10 feet can be pretty difficult. But that’s because they use strong materials to build this. My biggest hang up on this scooter is the inaccurate and inconsistent mileage you get. They claim that you get up to 25 miles per full charge, but that’s in the best case scenario. Which is if you are traveling on flat surface, and using standard or eco mode and refrain from using any of the lights. I’ve rode this thing 15+ times now on longer commutes and have averaged 19 miles on a full charge. I’ve had this die on me several times around the 21 mile mark because I thought I’d get 25 miles out of it. That was just wishful thinking. You will rarely get 25 miles out of this scooter. So just plan on traveling no more than 21 miles especially if you’re using turbo. It can be a real pain. Another gripe I have is that the scooter is inconsistent on speed. My brother has the exact same scooter and we go riding together all the time. We weigh exactly the same. And we’ll be riding side by side and there are times where he’s capping at a faster speed than I am, even though we’re both in the same speed mode. It’s annoying. I also wish there was an indicator on the scooter that told us how many miles our scooters have left. It only reads you how many you’ve traveled since the startup. Which leads me to a smaller gripe. Which is that when you shut the screen off, all the data resets. So you can easily lose track of how many miles you’ve rode and lead you to a short lived ride if you don’t keep track. Kind of annoying too. Other than those things I mentioned, I’d give this scooter a solid rating. It’s pretty fast by most standards and is built extremely well. I’d suggest buying an external headlight and brake lights because using them can run your battery out and shorten your ride.

Only 10 miles per charge. Brakes are MAJOR safety issue.
I would be very hard pressed to give this above 1 star. I cannot believe nor understand how it is possible for this to be #1 in electric scooters on Amazon due to two big flaws, one being pretty severe and causing a major safety hazard. The first problem is that after trying it for 5 days, no matter what I have tried, it will not get above 10 miles on a full charge, despite being advertised as up to 21 miles per charge. No matter how flat and smooth of surface I ride it on, the battery drains the same regardless. I could possibly forgive that since I got it purely for recreation, but the second problem is a real doozy. The brakes. They do not work based on how much pressure you apply to them. They only actuate at one point during the press, and it stops so hard and so suddenly that it almost throws you over the handle bars. It is extremely unsafe, and there is no way around it, that's just how they work. I felt completely unsafe riding this and could not enjoy it even for a second because of the brakes being this way. In fact, the brakes jerk so hard that even with just a small amount of sweat on my palms, which is easy to accumulate because you are scared to death the entire time to even be on this deathtrap of a machine and to even touch the brake handle due to how terrible they are, that I almost lost my grip over and over again, and almost had many bad wrecks in only 5 days. Amazon needs to investigate this because if the brakes are like this on every scooter, it is a major safety issue, which is why it is so bewildering to me that this could possibly be the #1 selling electric scooter on Amazon. This being my first ever Escooter, and also being "#1 in electric scooters" on here, what am I supposed to do? Roll the dice on another Escooter and just hope that the brakes actually function correctly? I'm not going through this again, I am just returning it and unfortunately forgetting any idea I had about having a Escooter for fun and recreation. Obviously, one would have to just avoid cheap junk like this and actually spend big bucks on a real product, in which I do not need it to commute so I don't need to spend a thousand dollars or more on a good one because I have a car to drive to and from work.

compact reliable quality
I picked up the MAXSHOT electric scooter because I wanted something lightweight and easy to carry, and it definitely delivers on that. It folds up in just a couple of seconds and barely takes up any space, which is perfect for commuting on the train and storing under my desk at work. The portability is honestly the biggest selling point—super convenient and not a hassle to bring along. As for quality, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it’s small and light, it doesn’t feel cheap at all. The frame feels sturdy, the ride is smooth, and the brakes respond well. It’s great for quick trips around the neighborhood or getting across campus. The battery life is decent for a scooter this size, and overall it feels like a well-made product for everyday short-distance use. The only downside is the weight limit. This scooter is definitely meant for smaller riders. If you’re over 150 pounds, it’s probably not going to be comfortable or stable enough. I’m within the limit, so it works fine for me, but I can see how it wouldn’t be ideal for someone bigger. It’s a great little scooter for light riders, but larger folks will want something more robust.

Great customer service
Bought this for my 11 yo niece last year. She loves it, as does her older brother and father who frequently took it for a ride! Unfortunately, right before the year was up the frame broke. She was devastated and was asking for a new one for her bday again. The good news was that the company quickly replaced the scooter with a brand new one once they received pictures of the broken one. It came quickly and she is speeding around town once again!

A great scooter for the price with minor inconveniences.
Having bought the gray and orange scooter 5 months ago, I believe this scooter has a lot of value given the price. I bought this scooter as a daily commute from off campus housing to my university. It goes very fast, often surpassing other riders. The interface is user friendly, the frame is strong, and the suspension is okay. You will feel bumps and cracks in the road but its not excessive. The foldability is quick but after time, the clip may get stuck where a little more strength is needed to unclip it. The battery life was perfect in my case. My campus is 2 miles away from housing, which the scooter at 20mph can clear in 15min. With this commute, the commute back, plus commuting at campus, the battery sits around 1 to 2 bars (out of 5), which was perfect for me. On a given day, I would say I commute about 6-8 miles between charges. My biggest issue are inclined hills. It will go slow, often around 6-8mph. For reference I am 170lbs with extra backpack weight. Overall a great scooter for the price.

10 out of 10
We love it! Bought one for my daughter as a Christmas present last year and just went back and purchased another. My daughter is 10 and loves the scooter. She can manage all the controls, and can adjust the scooter speed when needed. The size is perfect for her age. The scooter is well made and easy to assemble. Charges quickly and lasts a while so she is able to get a good amount of play time. Definitely recommend! Really great price and arrived quickly! We had a slight problem with learning the controls because we couldn’t get the app to work. Customer service was easy to contact and they worked us through everything!

Good scooter but mine started shutting off mid-ride and I need something more reliable
Ordered this after my Hiboy S2 was stolen because it was a more affordable replacement. Took a week to ship. Set up was easy, rode 10 minutes to work and back for two weeks and the speed was great, battery lasted nicely, it's lightweight and easy to fold and carry. The brakes took a bit of breaking in, it braked very abruptly and aggressively at first to the point where I couldn't comfortably go down a hill because I felt like I would be thrown off. After a week or so, the brakes softened and I had the opposite problem, I felt as thought the brakes were not as strong on certain road textures. I would be going down a hill, fully squeezing the brake as far as it would go and the scooter would still be moving slowly. Thankfully I ride in a fairly residential area but was worried about how the brakes would handle if I ever needed to brake quite suddenly due to a car or other hazard. Wasn't a dealbreaker for me, but something to think about. I am returning this scooter because last week, the scooter died on me halfway home from work. The screen shut off, brake and throttle stopped working, just a total shutdown. It happened on flat ground on a sunny day, no inclines or weather issues that might've triggered an issue. Could not get it to turn back on and the battery had been at a near-full charge. Had to push the scooter all the way home. When I plugged it back in, it powered up with no issues and claimed to still be near full charge. Figured I'd try it for another week and see if it happened again. Well, it did. Once yesterday, and again today. Just a total shut off with no warning on a road I travel every day. Today it happened when I was going 10mph, I felt the engine power down while I was still holding the throttle. Scooter slowed, then the screen shut off. I am returning it and buying a replacement Hiboy S2, as they happen to be on sale today. Everyone else seems well pleased with their Maxshot and I could find almost nothing online of others having a similar issue, so I suspect and sincerely hope I was just sent a faulty scooter. I'm keeping it 3 stars because it seemed like a good, affordable, lightweight little scooter until it started shutting off on me, and I really need a scooter I can rely on since I need it to get to work. I might've asked for a replacement except I miss the double brake function of my old Hiboy and can afford it now with it being on sale. If you get this scooter, I hope it is more reliable for you than it was for me.
