Why isn't the light on when I first received it?

Please check: whether the button on the back of the light is pressed. Is the light charged, if it's dead it needs to be fully charged in direct sunlight for 8 hours. If it is daytime you need to cover the solar panel of the light to light up.

Only works for a few minutes

Unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with these solar lights. They seem fine at first, but the charging performance is very poor. Even after being left in direct sunlight to charge, the lights only stay on for a few minutes before going out. I tried charging them on multiple days, but the result was the same. The main purpose of a solar light is to store enough energy to work through the night, so this is a major issue. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend them.

The light is not that bright and when set to be on from dusk to dawn it only stays light for about 30 mins.
