Women Canvas Backpack Daypack Casual Shoulder Bag, Vintage Heavy-duty Anti-theft Travel Backpack

I ordered this bag on a Sunday and received it less than 24 hours later in great packaging that didn't waste a lot of plastic or paper. The canvas is thick, sturdy, and high quality with a nice rich colour, and the lining is surprisingly heavy too, and feels pretty nice, not thin and flimsy and cheap. The metal rings are sturdy and heavy. The straps are also high quality and good thick fabric. Even though all the cloth materials are thick and durable, they're also very soft and pliable without being mushy. Nothing about this bag is cheap. The inside has two open pockets on the front (behind the design), a zippered pocket on the back, then a standalone zippered pocket in front of that attached to the bottom of the bag which makes a separate sort of pouch between the back of the bag and the second zippered pocket. This helps to keep much better organization in what is essentially a canvas pouch. It's a really good design. The bag also has another zippered pocket in back on the outside, which will rest against your body when you wear the bag so it's very secure. It's not a bad size, either, though I'm not sure it'll fit the larger mobile phablets. The closure of this bag is very clever and for a bag that remains open on top, it's very secure. There are two heavy-duty snaps on either side. You tuck in the edges of the bag and snap them tight, then you tug up the straps, which will tighten across the top and back through the metal rings, cinching the bag closed very securely. For someone to be able to get a hand in and out at all would be extremely difficult; for someone to do it without your noticing is something I don't believe the even the finest Oliver Twists of Paris or Rome could achieve. I will have no fear at all wearing this bag all over my hometown of NYC. The one thing I wish is that the straps were colour-coordinated to the bag itself instead of being exactly the same on every bag. The weird grey-brown colour doesn't match at all, and what's worse, brown is one of my least favourite colours. The inner lining is a rich brown, but that's inside and I don't really have to look at it. But the terrible strap brown colour clashes with most of the colours this bag comes in and it's unflattering, though very soft and of high-quality material. It's like they got a deal on a huge quantity of the strapping and just put it on every bag the company makes. It's a shame. If this bag had a strap that matched it would be pretty much a perfect bag. And since it's purely cosmetic, that's a great flaw to have if that's the only one I can name! Maybe I'll be able to replace or dye or paint the strap. In the meantime, even that ugly brown won't stop me from wearing this bag. I love it and I am thinking of buying another one in purple or blue - I can't decide. Totally worth the money. I'm dealing with a chronic condition that causes me a lot of body pain and fatigue, often without warning. I need a good bag, roomy but not huge, that I can sling over my back so I have my hands free, but which wouldn't be bulky or uncomfortable to carry. This fits everything on my list. And it's a beautiful bag! If you saw this bag and went, like I did, "Oh, that's a GREAT bag!" then you won't be sorry. Buy it.

This backpack is such great material! I had to come back 6 years later! I originally bought mine in 2020 and its held up so nicely! I still use it to go to the parks and it has amazing space and the design is so cute but I came back to buy one as a gift for someone! I know they'll love it

I love this bag. I wanted a bag for a trip that was easy to carry, sturdy, and could hold a good amount without being too big. This bag checked all the boxes, plus it’s much more attractive than a typical backpack. Although some of the reviewers felt it was too difficult to get into it that was one of the reasons I like it. True it’s not a bag that you can ask someone to get something out of while it’s on your back, but that means it would be difficult for someone to get into the bag without you knowing it. The canvas is durable, the trim attractive and although I wish the straps matched the bag better that’s just me being picky. The straps are adjustable so I can lengthen them and carry it like a shoulder bag if I don’t want to wear it on my back. I would have given the bag 5 stars but brass ring at the top of the bag that holds the straps and helps secure the opening had a gap that allowed the traps to slip out making it unusable. It took a lot of effort but between my husband and I we were able to close the gap. Doing so did mar the brass some but it was easier than returning the bag only to find the new bag had the same problem. Bottom line, I don’t regret this purchase and look forward using it for years to come.

Pros: Cute, durable, machine washable, anti-theft when fastened correctly, big enough to fit a medium amount of stuff - Cons: If you stuff it to max capacity it’s really hard getting the buttons to stay fastened so I often have to leave the straps looped through the O-ring. Speaking of the O-ring, if you have to dig inside your bag you’re going to have to unloop it every time otherwise it just gets annoying trying to navigate. As far as capacity goes, it’s decently sized but definitely not big enough for a 15” laptop. Probably a chrome book, and maybe a few notebooks. This bag is for someone who carries light, not a good bag for a student who carries multiple large books- get a backpack!

Great quality . LOVE this purse . Still using it today . Would definitely buy again. Not very big, but big enough. Fits my make-up bag, wallet, and plenty other items. Has more than just a few pockets on the inside and one that zips on the outside. Has plenty of space and an extra zip-up pocket in the center of the two open pockets to the purse. Matches every outfit , isn’t too big or too small. Very versatile. Very functional. Good value for money. Light weight. Thick Jean material. Good zipper quality.

We traveled Europe for 5 weeks - the hotspots known for pick pockets, so I wanted a bag to keep my wallet and passport secure. I also needed a bag bigger than most because I wanted to be able to carry a rain poncho, water bottle, phone charger, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, wipes, sun visor and other things I might need because we would be out all day and rarely back to our Airbnb to get anything. This is THE bag to get. The pouch on the back with the zipper is where I kept my RFID wallet and my passport the entire time and it stays against your back so it’s nearly impossible to pickpocket. And it will fit just about that - nothing bigger than a passport. Inside there are two zippered pouches - one along the side and one right in the middle. On each side of the zipper pouch in the middle are large areas to fit things. I kept my rain poncho in one of those of areas. It was bigger - one of those full size one that’s folds into its pocket. On the other side I usually kept my water, my phone charger (I got a long cord so it just came out the top of the bag and charged my phone), wipes, a snack, my medication bag fit in there too when we checked in for flights. There are also two little pouches for small things - whatever you want to grab quick like sunscreen or whatever. The bag opens big to get what you need inside but then you close it by using the snaps on each side and pulling the straps through to secure everything. The most frustrating thing about the bag is working with the straps, but that’s the whole point of the bag - to secure everything. And once you figure it out, it’s part of the routine. I was worried the straps would be uncomfortable since they were not cushioned and I’m kinda a boney person but they were fine. The straps adjust easily up down for a tighter or loader fit. This bag held up to a lot! There is no wear on this bag. So many trains, subways, planes, hikes, on/offs and it’s still like new except my husband spilled coffee on it so the middle part is stained :/. I miss this bag now that I’m back. It holds great memories and I will take next time I travel! My kids got the small traditional black bag but had a hard time carrying what they needed. I had plenty of room and never struggled to fit anything.

It's so beautiful and amazing quality!! I can fit a lot in it which is perfect for me. I get complemented on it everywhere I go! Took a bit to get use to getting in to it but worth it as it makes me feel secure from pickpockets!
