Dorwest Valerian Compound (Organic) 30ml

I do not know about the flavour because my cat cannot speak. I think it is fine. At least, keep my cat very calm.

I got Valerian Compound for my seven year old called Chilli who wasn't very chilled! I think she had some kind of obsessive compulsive disorder & was highly stressed. Licking & biting at her fur when she was awake. Thought it may have been a flea infestation so treated her but still no change. =0( Started on the drops, by putting the recommended amount in her food - she wasn't keen at first but is now used to it. I didn't see any change for the first week or so...so was a bit disappointed. Then I up'd the dose a little & now I have a different cat! =0D She only occasionally over grooms now so it really seems to be working. In fact I'm writing this from bed (I have a cold) & usually she would be running around itching & biting herself but she is curled up in a little ball fast asleep! What a relief! The added bonus is that my other cat who is very greedy hates the smell of it so it stops her stealing Chilli's food! If your cat is stressed, get this product!!!

Decided to give this a go on my 9yr old staffy cross who has recently decided he hates fireworks. I put some drops in his mouth the night before firework night. It made him crazy - he was running around crying being an anxious wreck. I stuck to it though and did the same thing the next night (firework night) and he was a lot calmer. The following weekend i knew there were going to be some fireworks but as i was on a late shift that day, i didnt want to give them to him as it would have worn off by the time the fireworks actually started, so i put some drops on his bedding instead. When i returned that night the fireworks were going off but he was calm and chilled out, not shaking like he usually does. Great product but you have to stick with it to see results x

I rarely write reviews but I am so happy with this I had to! After years of trying numerous products and methods to help calm my anxious senior dog during fireworks, I have finally found a solution. In the past the only thing that has worked have been vet prescribed sedatives, now he has kidney issues, I wanted to avoid anything too strong and heavy for his body to process. I combined the Dorwest Compound with an Adaptil diffuser (that helped a little) and the results are amazing. On bonfire night he was laying there listening to the fireworks and just not bothered, I also liked the fact that it didn't make him drowsy, just calm and happy. I will make sure I have some of this on hand for any stressful times in the future.

Cat appears to not like the smell but it does calm her down straight away. I put a few drops on some tissue and put it next to her, she was scratching and over cleaning as she had fleas so whilst been treated for these this helped calm her down.

I was a little sceptical that this would work for my Jack Russell Terrier who is terrified of fireworks and any loud noises. I have used the scullcap & valerian tablets for my other dog with great success but they did not seem to help Layla.These drops though were brilliant squirted straight into her mouth at teatime meant that she was far more at ease with all the noises last night. She still lifted her head from her basket when they went off but did not run around, jump about and try to hide in the weirdest of places as she had previously.A great buy I would recommend to anyone with a nervous dog

My dog has been terrified of the fireworks this year (think it's cause he's older) but nothing would calm him down tried plug in ect but no still shaking like mad every night when it got dark till i tried these drops they calmed him right down a treat great product would definitely recommend and buy again

Kevin the cat is now doing well, he was rehomed to us this year, he seems more settled and fur is re growing, This together with cleaning fur for harvest mites has worked.
