これ、安くて機能が良くて、軽くて、文字盤も見やすい。 コスパ最高なんですけれど、唯一の欠点がベルトが硬いこと。 で、揉みほぐすとか色々と試してみたんですが、最良の方法は、写真の様に輪ゴムで縛って一晩置くこと。 クセが付いて装着感が格段にアップします。

今は同じCASIOのLINEAGEを使っていて、三分の一に近い価格に惹かれたので。 使用しているLINEAGEとは基本的な液晶デザイン(6周辺)や機能、性能(電波ソーラー、5気圧防水)はほぼ同じですが、重さは34.7gと軽く、LINEAGEのチタンモデルの半分以下(73g。ステンレスモデルは100g前後)。樹脂材の多用なのでコストカットは多々あります。 風防も樹脂材なのでキズには注意が必要です。まぁ、風防がサファイアガラスでも簡単にキズは付きますけど、綺麗なんですよねぇ。 受領後に動かすとバッテリー表示は「MID」(レベル2)で、最初に標準電波の手動受信には少し時間は掛かりましたが、その後は(関東ですが)自動受信を示す「RCVD」は表示しています。光充電でのバッテリー表示が「HI」(レベル1)になるのは(照明はほとんどLED光源なので)時間は掛かるかも。 アラームやタイマー、ストップウォッチはLINEAGEでは使っていなかったのでPDFで覚える予定。 布ベルトは自分の腕が細いからか中から2番目の穴とちょっとギリギリ。LINEAGEのベルトは脱着も長さ調整も比較的簡単なので、ここは安っぽさがあります。布ベルトは消耗品なので交換時に考えます。 ステンレス材の腕時計では高温多湿の時に汗でちょっとチクチクする事はあったので、裏蓋に薄いステンレスに樹脂材、ベルトは布と金属アレルギーにも気にせず使えそうな感じはします。 ただ、金属アレルギーに敏感な人は総樹脂製もしくは総チタン製を選んだ方が無難だと思います(それでもダメな人はいるみたいですけど)。 ちょっと傷が付いてもへっちゃらなので普段使いにすると思います。

皆さんがレビューに書いている通り、ベルトは硬いです。購入後一週間でベルトはNATOベルトに変えました。 時計自体は、電波時計+G-Shockより軽い+余計な機能無いと言うことで大変満足しています。

時計本体はほんとにいいですね。日常これで十分です。バンドは最悪です。しばらく使っても馴染みません。腕手首痛いです。他のバンドに変えましたら、とても良くなりました。ですからバンド色は何色でもいいと思います。どうせ他で自分のお気に入りのバンドに変えて使うと思います。

思っていたのと大体同じぐらいの品質です。ただ違うのはレビューを見違うので違うのでレビューはあくまで参考程度に違うのでレビューはあくまで参考程度てバンドｶﾞダメだと書いてあったのでおすすめのバンドも買ったのですが、もともとついていたバンドもそれほど固くもなく使っているうちに柔らかくなると思うのでベルトはそのままついていたのを使います。1万円位なのでおすすめです。

UPDATE: 1/20/24 -- I've had this watch for almost 7 years now. It's still going strong. Wear it everyday. I have to get new bands for it about every year, but it's been great. Simple, reliable, sets and recharges itself with normal use. This has been a great watch. UPDATE: 6/16/18 -- I've had this watch for almost a year now. It's still going strong. Sets itself, charges itself...nothing else to do except wear it. I really like the watch and the casual style. The band is okay, but since it's made of stiff cloth (like an olive colored canvas), it's dirty now and needs to be replaced. I wear this watch every day and have only noticed one small scratch on the crystal. The crystal isn't the hardest of materials, but it's hung in there for me through daily wear and my work around airplanes as a pilot. I'm upgrading my review to five stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW -- This watch took about 3 weeks to arrive since it ships from overseas. I bought it to replace a similar-looking automatic (self-winding) watch that I never could get to run even semi-accurately. From that experience, I decided to take a chance on this $90 Casio which charges itself through a solar cell in the watch face (never needs a battery change) and then automatically sets itself to the proper time using a time signal from Boulder, CO. The instructions are in Japanese so you'll need to first download them in English for this model from the Casio website. Setting this watch was the biggest challenge for me. It wasn't all that clear or easy to set from the instructions. Eventually, I got it all set up (and in English), but I don't use the stopwatch, alarm, or countdown timer features so I can't comment on how easy or hard those features are to use. The watch is extremely accurate and just tweaks itself periodically and automatically. I really like that aspect of the watch--dependably accurate. It also has a nice amber-looking light that makes the hands easy to read at night. Some customers don't like the band and some have said not so bad. But I just wear it loose and it's seems fine to me. I like the olive green color and steel look to the watch. A nice, casual watch. Overall, I like the watch very much and would recommend it. If it lasts, it'll be my go-to watch for every day wear.

This is a casio nightmare, the setting is manual on bottom left clicker, but not world time, it comes before that. then you have to take your luck in the other buttons to press to get the analogue hands to move. Fit a crown, why don't you? This is not for vision impaired people, or the elderly, or non casio users. It will drive you mad. The instructions are in Japanese and Korean. The strap is fabric with a leather lining and very, very stiff and harsh. There is some luminescence, it is solar powered but it is horribly primitive and eccentric to set up or fully exploit the functions. Japanese Direct Marketing. I'VE CHANGED THE VERDICT: THIS IS A GOOD SUB-PROTREK THAT GROWS ON YOU, SUITABLE FOR A NARROWER WRIST; THE STRAP NEEDS TO BE TAKEN RIGHT UP ALL THE WAY, IT'LL LAST AS LONG AS THE WATCH. THE LUMINESCENCE IS LONG LASTING AND BRIGHT BUT THE EFFECT WITH THE BUILT-IN LIGHT IS PURE HOLLYWOOD, VERY ATMOSPHERIC AND '50'S SCIENCE FICTION. REMEMBER THIS IS A SOLAR POWERED REMOTE CONTROLLED WATCH. I THINK THE PALE BLUE EDIFICE BATTERY POWERED MAY BE ANOTHER OVERLOOKED MASTERPIECE. I LIKE WATCHES THAT GROW ON YOU, LIKE ROLEX, SOKI, SANDA, AND THIS. THEY GOT THIS VERY RIGHT.

I liked the idea of an accurate watch that corrected itself with a signal sent out daily. I have no problem where I live getting the signal while wearing the watch in bed over night. The numerals glow in the dark but it also has a night light to view the time. The digital display shows the day and date which for an aging geezer like myself is very helpful. Some of the comments talk about the instructions being hard to follow, yes, they are. I just kept playing with the watch until I had it set up and running the way I wanted it. One neat trick is it tells you if the overnight signal actually was picked up. You have to scroll through but not that difficult. Cool!! I don’t use the alarm, yet, so I can’t comment on the loudness of the beep it uses. I do love this thing and it rarely is off my wrist. Would I buy this again, yup.
