How many do i need for the first year of my baby??? Which one do i use for milk feeding? Not sure if it depends on the liquid density or baby age.

You just need as many nipples as bottles that you have. 1 nipple per bottle. So it depends on how many of them you use. Purchase of the bottles will, normally, include a nipple with them, so you'll only need to buy more when it's time to upgrade. It should be noted these nipples are only good in conjunction with the natural AVENT bottles, specifically. Per the manufacturer, it depends on age. "Newborn Flow" are recommended for babies from birth to 1 month. "Slow Flow," from 1 to 3 months. "Medium Flow" from 3 to 6 months. "Fast Flow" from 6 months+. You may want to upgrade early if your baby is having issues with teething, as each step up simply means more holes in the nipple's tip, but you should do so cautiously. We fed at the recommended stages (upgrading with each nipple stage when the time came) with both formula and breast milk mixed with rice cereal (at the suggestion/guidance of our pediatrician) with no difficulty until our baby started teething at around 5 months of age, so we introduced the "fast flow" nipples a bit early - which, after a few initial extra big gulps - our baby adjusted to fine.

Can this fast flow nipple be used for 16 month old?

Yes, the 16 month old may get frustrated that it's coming out slow.

i have classic bottles can i use these nipples or i need natural bottles as well?

Hi Iyana, if your classic bottles are AVENT, then yes. Avent Natural nipples will fit. However, if you have classic nipples, it won´t fit on a natural bottle.
