Easy to use. Less redness on my face.
I’ve been using the Facetheory Supergel Oil-Free Face Moisturiser for 2 weeks now. The lightweight gel formula feels instantly refreshing and sinks in quickly without leaving any sticky or greasy residue. It gives just the right amount of hydration while helping to keep my T-zone under control throughout the day. I’ve also noticed less redness around my problem areas since adding this to my routine. It contains niacinamide and salicylic acid. Niacinamide helps reduce the look of pores and even out skin tone, while the salicylic acid keeps pores clear and prevents new blemishes from forming. I use this at the end of my skincare routine, after applying serums, and before any facial oils if needed. A small amount goes a long way—just massage it gently into clean skin in circular motions, morning and night.

Old formula was miles better
Used to LOVE the old formula, was my regular go-to moisturiser for my oily skin. Kept my skin moisturised without being greasy. However, this new formula is not so good at keeping skin moisturised. Don’t get me wrong, your skin won’t look dry but it FEELS dry, definitely as a result of the addition of salicylic acid which we all know is very drying. This was unnecessary in my opinion, I already have a skincare routine that targets my skin issues, for a moisturiser I just want it to be focused on providing moisture. I don’t need more actives in it in addition to the rest of the products I’m using. Big mistake Facetheory! Not a fan of the new branding either, looks very generic now. The amount of times I’ve not been able to find this cream amongst my other products because it just blends in with everything else!
