This review is for the Transformers Studio Series Voyager Class Gamer Edition War For Cybertron Ratchet action figure / toy. This figure comes complete in its packaging and is from the game series of action figure lines. The packaging for this product was pretty significantly damaged but it was not listed as being in perfect condition. The box itself shows images from the series associated with the figure including diorama and action displays of the figure included. The package shows the model and the size class of the figure included. The robot mode of this figure is fantastic and features solid mobility including head, shoulder, elbow, wrist, waist, hip, knee and ankle motion. This allows the figure to get into very dynamic poses. The figure includes weapon accessories that can be held by the figure in action poses. The conversion of this figure is pretty straightforward and as long as you follow the instructions included on the box (or watch a video); it will be quick and simple to convert it. This changes the figure to his alternate mode (it only has a single alternate mode) which features a vehicle from the series. The panel fitting and mobility of the vehicle is great and allows for repeated play as well as mobility. The alternate mode also features multiple points on the vehicle to store the included weapon. The detail and paint quality of this figure is pretty solid and although there are some parts that rub when moving, it does not appear that there are any paint scuffs or stress marks. It represents a great improvement in Transformer figures and will be a great addition to my collection. As far as value for the money, be sure to check various places like ActionFigure411 to determine if the pricing is a good, average, or poor pricing for what you are getting. For what I paid for the figure, I would say he is a very solid value for the money. This figure is ideal for someone who grew up loving the Transformers series and remembers this particular line and wants to relive some of those memories with a cool figure. Definitely happy with my purchase!
