Worked exactly as it should in Italy! I used it for my straightener/curling iron and I had no overheating issues

False advertisement.
I bought this converter to use in Cape Verde, expecting it to output 110V for my Sony soundbar. After connecting the soundbar to the converter, the soundbar — which cost me $845 — was destroyed. When we tested the converter with an electrician, we discovered that the 110V output was not actually 110V but only 50V. This product is completely unreliable, and I would never recommend it.

Great purchase. Was able to use in every country visited in Europe thus far. This is a must have when traveling overseas!

Good converter
I did like it and worked well. But so many parts to it.

Only ONE of the 2 plugins is a converter!
PLEASE understand that only ONE of the two Type B (North American 3-pin) plugins is a converter. The other is an adapter only-plug a 110v appliance into it and zap goes your appliance. That is NOT anyway obvious from the main photo (you have to scroll 3 or 4 photos in). Returning for a proper 2 plug CONVERTER (bought a 2 plug because the females in my family use both a 110v hair dryer AND curling iron warming up post shower).

Horrible product. Went to Europe, tried to use this product and it didn’t work. Don’t waste your time or money on this junk.

Not buying it again.
In London my wife plugged in her hair dryer in the top plug. The second she plugged it in it sparked and never worked again. It states that the top plug is for hair dryers guess not. By the time I got back from Europe and the return time ran out.
