Could this be squeezed into a 16 inch wide changing table? we purchased the jameson dresser topper from restoration hardware.

Does the vanilla color stain/discolor from being soiled? How long until the baby outgrows the length?

I have the vanilla and ours stained the first time poop got on it. I thought our little one was done going and went to put a new diaper under her.... well, apparently, she wasn't finished. I immediately wiped the poop off. There is still a poop stain two weeks later. The stain is an orangish color. I tried Magic Eraser, and it made absolutely no difference.
I'm not positive how long you could use this before baby outgrows it but I would guess quite a while. Our little one is 6 months and she still has plenty of room. I would assume you could use it until the baby is 18 months or so depending on the growth of your child. 
While I'm disappointed in the staining, I would still buy another one. I love the shape, size, color and the ability to just wipe it off. Plus, it seems comfortable for our girl and it doesn't get too cold for changes in the middle of the night.

Question 3

Could this be dual purposed as an infant bather? Clearly with hands on the baby and not submerged.

I don't think I would use this to give a infant bath. There is on incline for babys head. Just bathe baby in sink or by a bathtub for baby. It would be cheaper than this. But I do love this as a diaper changer. My baby loves it too!

Would this attach to a dresser?

The child safety strap has self stick Velcro that can attach.   I understand other people have used aftermarket Velcro to attach the whole changing pad to a dresser.  Our original plan was to attach it with Velcro, however, once we actually started using it, we noticed the changing pad really is very heavy and we have not needed to.
