Dewalt Impact Holster (Pack of 4)

As a DIY lover and a wannabe professional, I've owned a ton of tool belts and holsters, and I have to say, the DEWALT Impact Holster is simply phenomenal! I picked this up recently on Amazon, and boy has it been almost the first tool in my workday routine. First off, the build quality is exactly what you expect from DEWALT -- tough, durable, and ready to go to work! It is constructed from heavy duty poly fabric, and you can just feel it in the construction and the stitching. I'm not worried at all about this thing falling apart after a few tough jobs! There is a heavy duty harness, and you can just tell this is meant to last. But most impressive is the thoughtfulness of the design. The angle of the holster makes for excellent drill balance so that my impact driver isn't constantly flopping around, or digging into my leg. This is a significant relief for me, especially when I am moving about, climbing a ladder, or contorted in some awkward position - it is just much more comfortable! The adjustable strap, with a quick release buckle, holds my impact driver perfectly in place, and I am not worried about it falling completely off when I bend over or am working above head. There is also a hook and loop backing that keeps the strap securely out of the way when I am not using it, which is a small but appreciated detail! And it isn't just about convenience in holding the impact driver - the holster offers great portability as well!

This Dewalt impact tool holster is made really well. The impact fits in it perfectly and stays in place. IT also has places to store several different bits as well. It is easy to use and keeps my impact handy. Being a Dewalt holster, I know it will last many years with no problems.

It’s very snug when new. Fits my 12v dewalt drill and impact great, but the 20v impact takes extra wiggling and shoving to get into the holster. I’m hoping it will loosen up over time. I wish they had tailored it to fit a little better so that the QD strap wasn’t necessary. Regardless this is a better solution than the metal clip on the impact/drill and will hold the impact/drill securely to your belt. I’ve had a couple of drops from a ladder when using just the standard metal clip, so giving this a try. It was a great deal on Black Friday this year.

I sometimes need to carry both a drill and a driver at the same time so I was looking for another holster to add to my belt. I was about to get the same as the one I already have but I came across this Dewalt Impact Driver holster in my search. It happens that I have just acquired a new impact driver, the DCF850. It fits nice and snug in the holster. Another great thing about the holster is that its ambidextrous. I can have it on either side, or even behind. Now I'm tempted to get the matching drill holster for the DCD805. It does scream "fan boy" to have matching holsters for the drill and the driver.

Excellent quality holster that fits on my carpentersn apron. Very handy as it keeps my impact driver easy accessible. Very well made and holds some bits too

I’ve been using this Dewalt impact holster for a bit, and overall it’s just okay. It holds the tool securely and is convenient to have on your side, but I ran into one annoying issue my drill would sometimes turn on while I was walking around with it. It didn’t happen constantly, but enough times to notice. It’s a overall decent price for what you get and it’s not to heavy. The holster itself is decent in terms of build quality, but that safety/trigger issue keeps it from being great. It works, but I’d say it’s more of an average option.

Worst holster ever. Been using it for 3 months doesn't fit the DeWalt impact as it's supposedly made the do. Don't buy it.
