It took me 10 minutes to eat hot soup. It was still in good condition, but there were a few soft spots.

I don't recall any on the packaging. I compared them to the caloric value of 3 crackers.

How well does this do the job of a spoon? For example eating hard ice cream, wet ingredients, soups, etc?

Excellent! Highly recommend this product, It holds up to soup so well you will have to bite it to eat it. VERY low level of salt so it's almost neutral. You could use with ice cream if you'd like.
