Moly is made in a powdered form thusly when it goes through a oil filter the moly is captured therein. How then does it work?

Your oil filter wont catch things .35 microns in size, so the MoS2 still reaches all the parts of your motor.

So per liquimoly, you can use 2 additives per oil mix. Now if I get this 10w-40 which is premixed with mos2, how much of the lifter additive to add?

No additives are needed for the Liqui Moly Motor Oil. It has the proper amount of MoS2 already in it. and more (make it better) should not be done. It would be past the Oils suspension capacity and settel out in oil pan over time.

Hi , I have no experience with Amsoil but have been using Liqui Moly products for long time in all my cars and motorcycles including Japanese and German. Currently using Liqui moly 5w-40 2332 in 2019 MB c300 and liqui moly 0w-20 in 2020 VW Passat . Black but don’t worry it is supposed to be. It works!

This stuff looks like used motor oil but don’t worry that is the molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) which is black. This stuff in a small engine makes it smooth as silk. I used it all season in my leaf vacuum small engine. I could hear the difference. It was quieter and smoother.
