I must say this shopping experience on Amazon was very joyful. The board game wasn’t packaged well, (They literally just put the board game into the box without any protection)but at least it was safely delivered without any damage.Thx god. But I think you guys can do better.God knows what will happen to the next one. BTW,The printing is flawless and the pattern is crystal clear. Highly recommended.

Good work fast delivery

The package came as advertised, with the 3 books + Dungeon Master screen, which fit neatly inside the box. There was a small spot on the DM's screen that got stuck together, and when opened caused a small tear, but it's ignorable. Also, as I live in a humid environment, all three books experienced page curling after a few days. I find that keeping all the books inside the box/case minimizes this somewhat. If you're new to D&D (like me), the Player's Handbook has everything you need to create a new character and learn about the game mechanics; the Monster Manual contains details and stats for various enemies you could encounter; and the Dungeon Master's guide contains all the tips and tricks for building a world and running the game.

The box came with a huge damage. The ne of the corners are literally opened up. And I am thinking about sending it back... Other than that, the books and the DM Screen are in perfect condition. If I only could replace the box itself, it would be great.

Ich habe die englische Version vor etwa zwei Jahren als Weihnachtsgeschenk für einen passierten DnD-Spieler und -meister besorgt. Es kam richtig gut an, sieht wirklich schön und hochwertig aus. Es macht sich auch jetzt, nach 2 Jahren, immer noch gut als Eyecatcher in seinem Büro =) Kaufempfehlung für DnD-Fans oder deren Liebsten!

it was a good buy i love it.

This is a beautiful set that arrived without damage (but easily could have been damaged as it was shipped by Amazon in a thin bag only, without bubble wrap). The slip cover has some bumps but they look like a production error and are hardly visible so that's ok. The books/screen were all in excellent condition and look great, inside and out.

this is a gorgeous set of books. the special edition foil covers look impressive and your friends will be envious. the photos don't do it justice. also the covers don't look anything like the product photos. i started playing D&D back in the 80s with the famous red box. i moved and gotten rid of my D&D books a while ago and missed the ability to play. i had been watching these and picked them up on a nice sale. i have to say that these books are far better than the old 2nd edition books i had. the information is far more clear and standardized to make it easier for new players, and old players to the updated rules. the information is in logical order and contains everything you need to make characters and adventures and to start playing right away except for the dice. you can also go on the D&D website to get character sheets to print off, rather than trying to photocopy them from the book. every aspect of the game has been updated for the better. the rules encompass far more gameplay settings and ideas, the artwork inside is beautiful. being an experienced D&D player for many decades but new to 5th edition i wasn't expecting to be impressed by these books but just regain the familiar texts, but everything is so excellent its gotten me excited to start playing D&D again. i can't overstate how great these books are.

Must have for any Dungeon Master in the making.
