Yes this is the same shampoo you can buy at the drug store or Walmart. Originally this was made for horses but people use it on their hair as well.

Q: Does it get rid of odors?

Skunk odor, no. Not sure what odors inquiring about. It does have a small scent to it, and if for a horse having rolled in poop by accident, i would say yes. Horses have such a nice smell to them anyways...it will make it smell clean. I love this product! For my hair it does clean it well, and the scalp...and it does make it feel thicker. I do have a lot of thick hair to begin with, but i do get a lot of comments on hair being nice.

It is a good shampoo for humans. My hair is always squeaky clean after using this, it literally squeaks

Q: What size is the neck of the bottle? Thinking about ordering a pump at the same time as the gallon of soap.

Unfortunately, I didn't measure it, I used it without a pump.
