After being in use for over 12 months I can certainly recommended these pods. Initial quantities of the coffee took a few tries as can only be expected, but once you know how much you like then it's easy.Capsules are being used in a Colours machine which has a different capsule holder arrangement to the other Dolce Gusto machines. It has a lid on the holder so as long as the hole is aligned there is no leakage. I did mis-align it just the once (totally my fault) so a new holder was needed (the thingy to pierce the capsules is in the holder not the main machine) but easy to align if you pay attention!Gives a decent (if not spectacular) crema and not as good as the disposable capsules, but flavour is good. Easy to clean and the mentioned 50 uses has been vastly exceeded with seemingly no ill effects.

difficult to measure exactly 7.5 or 8 g of coffee. Care has to be taken to not overfill, sometimes water escapes from the top of the pod which can make a mess when taking it out. All in All they are a good cheaper, more environmentally friendly alternative to the branded pods, and you can put any coffee of your choice in which isa great positive!

Brilliant the only fault is that without scales there is no proper way of measuring 7.5/8g using the measure spoon with 1 spoon level you have a weak 250 mil cup/mug of coffee using 2 measures it fills the pod you get a medium strength coffee that is using 3/4 medium/strong coffee

These dont really work that well might do with expresso but normal perculated coffee just a 3rd of a cup
