Will these melt quickly for spreading in a "melt-away" cookie? and - do they have those disgusting little white hard candy dots on the bottom? thanks!

These mints will not melt quickly to spread on a cookie like icing, nor do they have any hard candy dots on the bottom. They have no coating and are hard, but not hard-candy hard. They used to be called "wedding mints" in some communities. Once in your mouth you will be able to chew them or just let them dissolve in your cheek. They are nothing like chocolate chips, chocolate mints or Hershey's Kisses.

What is the expiration date? Why are these 40% off and an identical bag is not?

I don't know about the pricing issue, but I will tell you the bag of mints I got were HARD. I was expecting to bite down into a nice soft melt-in-your-mouth mint, but when I bit down it was so hard it cracked a tooth. $900 later...

Who certifies is kosher? I don’t see a symbol on package picture.
