Easy to use and highly intuitive set up. Literally it is easier to push the buttons and set it up than to read the manual then set it up. JUST SO EASY. Size is easy to find -feel for- even in the dark. A good option for visually impaired but also good for those who like to hear the time without having the light of a clock by the bed at night. That's how I use it. Push it once and it tells you the time, twice will also give you the date. The two volume settings are a nice touch. I love in the morning when I want to know if it is time to get up I just push that button and it tells me. (Bedroom is blacked out so no dawn until curtains are opened so that's why I need to know time). On days I do set alarm it works well. If you are someone who sleeps through alarms this isn't your clock. It will stop after a bit and there is no snooze, either. It will work great for most people. I absolutely love this clock. I dropped it on a hard floor once and it still works fine. Little kids would love this clock. Not just for the visually impaired. It's really cool.

* It's smaller than I expected with is a plus. Fits nicely on a bedside table and doesn't take up much space. Pro's: 1. Simple to use. Put in batteries. Switch for high and low volume and a single programing button on back. 2. Programing time and date is not complicated. 3. The voice on low is loud enough to hear and the speach is very clear. It can be turned up to loud, about the volume of a normal speaking voice. 4. It works really well. CONS: 1. Programing takes repeated pressing of the button. Press once to select time and continue to press until desired time. Example. Press once and it may say 9 am but you want to set it to the time now, for example 5 pm. You have to keep pressing the button. Each time you press it advances an hour (can't go backwards): 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm ......5 pm. pause briefly and press again to set the minute of the hour. Setting the year, month, day of the week, and day of the month is the same process: 2021, Nov., 9th, Tue. (not necessarily in that order). It isn't hard or complicated. It just takes patience and a lot of presses of the single programing button. 2. It is not lighted, but then there is nothing to see. All you have to do is tap the top and it speaks the time. If you press it a second time (within about 5 seconds or less) it will speak the day and date. Really easy to use. RECOMMENDATION: If you want a simple speaking clock that can be clearly heard then this is it. I highly recommend it. 11-22-21 Update. My wife loves this talking clock. We don't use alarm. We use the basic time and date. Am buying a second one.

This clock is perfect for my visionally impaired daughter who cannot see a regular clock. Fairly easy to set up. I wish the volume could be lowered as its quite loud.

This product is very easy to set up and once it is set up, the male voice is clear and easy to understand. For those that are both visually and hearing challenged, it works very well because you just press the button and the time is announced. And the voice is liad enough to hear the time as well. The only concern I have is that the battery compartment has a very small screw that holds the door in place. Fir those that are visually challenged, it makes it almost impossible for them to change the battery by themselves. Nit being able to see makes it hard to locate and remove the small screw with an equally small screwdriver. Since this product is made primarily fur those that are sight challenged, it would be better to change the design of the battery door so that the population that benefits from this product can maintain as much of their independence as possible without having to ask someone to change the batteries for them. You completely missed the mark on the battery door but otherwise it is a great product.

This works great! I had gotten a different one first and it had a hard to understand voice. This one is crystal clear! This is for my uncle who's in a nursing home. He can't see and has a hard time hearing too but he can hear and understand this one just fine. He absolutely loves knowing what time it is and the date. He was very happy with this!

I brought this talking clock for my visually impaired mother. She absolutely loves it. As she is unable to make out the hands on her normal clocks she just pushes the big white button and this lovely voice tells her the time, push again and it tells her the date and day. She no longer feels lost or inadequate.

My 88 yr old father in law with failing eyesight & reduced hearing, loves this button! He’s not getting up & dressed starting the day in the middle of the night anymore, as he knows the time. We have it fixed to his bed via 3m hook & loop. A method of fixing is required, and there’s not any easy way to permanently mount it.

Does so much good for my grandma. She is constantly holding it. That's how much she relies on this talking clock. She has definitely come to love it and use it often. My dad just set it up for her and she was good to go!! Batteries last well in it. I recommend Duracell as those are the ones we have used in it and i can only speak on what was used. This is my grandma's new found companion. It is a man's voice, so she likes that lol. 100% recommend.
