I got these for back to school but it's kind of early because the moment I saw them I was like, "These are so cool! I love these colors!" and I ordered them. When they got here, I was so excited, but the way everything was put into the box was very disorganized. So I took everything out of the box and tried to rearrange all of it, but the box was too small. From the main picture that I saw on Amazon, I thought everything could fit in there. But other than that, the set was AMAZING!!!!! It had the exact kind of rubber grip I like (very soft and soothing), graphite that is VERY sturdy and hard to break (even for writers that press down too hard!), and excellent erasers, but I recommend that anyone who is going back to school should get this set. The pastel colors are even better in real life, because I am sort of picky when it comes to pastel colors, but they have the exact same colors as shown on the pictures! I think my real rating is 4.7 stars because of the disorganized thing, but that rounds up to 5 stars :) Overall, this is a great set, and I am super happy with it. (It doesn’t smudge and just saying, LOVE this set!) *If you are trying to ask your mom to get this, show them this rating*

These are pretty standard pencils, the only thing special about them is the color. I had to remove a star because the product images were misleading. The rubber grip has a plastic notch in it which is shown centered in the product photo, implying that this is the type of pencil with a thumb button to advance the lead, however it's actually the type where you press the eraser down to get more lead. If I had bought these for myself I wouldn't use them because of this. The second issue is there are no purple pencils in my set. I ordered the set with 2x3 colors, pink purple and turquoise. But the purple pencils are distinctly blue when seen in person, the turquoise ones are also more blue than they appeared. The attached photos were taken under warm lighting but you can see that the pencils are clearly a different color than the lead refill containers, which are the expected colors. I bought these for a little girl who's favorite color is purple so this is honestly pretty upsetting. Again I would not have bought this set if the product images were more accurate. Lastly, the lead refill containers don't work well at all. They open barely wide enough for the width of the lead, but are curved so that is not actually wide enough. You have to shake it pretty violently to get any sticks to come out and hope they don't fly everywhere. Although the set includes a generous amount of lead, I am confident most of it will end up broken within a couple of refills due to the difficulty of getting it out of the container. Im not testing the erasers because this set was to be divided up as gifts for a girl and her friends, I can't steal the joy of a crisp new eraser from any potential stationary lovers. Overall pretty unhappy with this set, I just hope the recipient likes it more than I did since she has no knowledge or expectations about this.

Bought these for my daughter for school. Okay pencils, write great, the erasers work well, and she loved the colors. They are not durable at all, two broke 3-4 months after the school year started. After only a year of using these, she had only one complete pencil; the rest were either broken, missing pieces, or stolen. Erasers broke easily, too. Wouldn't recommend them to someone who wants strong, durable mechanical pencils for school/work.

A cute package of basic things high schoolers need. My daughter was excited about the pastel colors. Good value for money I think.

Good pencils, lots of leads and erasers. I like the case to keep supplies handy.
