Easy in & out for my sourdough starter
Wanted something with straight sides so my starter could easily grow when I wake it up. This works nicely. I’ve tried mason type jars but the starter gets stuck at the top. This jar is nice & straight so I can easily use a spatula to scrape the sides. Worth it for me.

Absolutely LOVE these jars. Great for bookbinding adhesive storage.
Have been collecting these jars it bits and pieces to use for storing methyl cellulose paste and PVA glue for bookbinding. These are extremely sturdy and close tight, which is perfect for keeping my adhesives from going off or drying out. I've also knocked several over by accident, and they haven't cracked or broken at all. Very thick, hefty glass. The lids are also perfect, since I hate the tops and bands that normally come with mason jars. These solid lids make it extremely easy to handle when my hands are covered in glue or paint. Definitely going to buy more in larger sizes so I can consolidate my jars of adhesive, clean out the smaller ones, and use them for bits and bobs or food storage. Highly recommended!

Chronoclean Watch Cleaning Machine Jars
These are a perfect fit for the Chronoclean watch cleaning machine and cheaper than the ones available on the Esslinger website. They are just slightly wider at the base than the official jar that comes with the machine and fit just as well. They also have the single lids which is convenient as most of these come with a two piece. Great find if there are any other watchmaking hobbyists looking for these. The one on the right in my photo is the official jar.

Good!
Bought these for my sourdough starter. Size is perfect for around 100g of starter. Anything more- it won’t be big enough. I’ve kept it in the fridge while I wasn’t feeding it as often and the lid closed tight to keep the gas. Pretty sturdy, cute little Jars.

Rust in lid after two days of use
I have ordered these twice to use for sourdough starter and all FOUR lids have rust on the inside of the top of the lid. I have done everything I can to get it off and there is just no doing it. The jars themselves are perfect, but these lids are sn epic fail. I am a disabled senior on a fixed income so I am pretty upset. I am pointing to the rust on this lid and all four lids have it. If I were you I would keep shopping

Sourdough starter necessity
I needed a jar for my sourdough starter that did not have the curved top where the sourdough starter got stuck. This set of jars fit the bill perfectly. They are easy to use, easy to clean, and sturdy enough that when I dropped it on the floor it didn't break.
