Super comfy!
Super comfy! Love the wide toe box and the low heel drop. Based on some other comments, I put waterproof spray on them, and I was all set. I’m normally a size 8 and their size 8 fit nicely. If you’re planning to wear really thick socks, you might want to size up, but they worked with thin-to-med thick wool socks for me.

Love. No break in process necessary. I don't wear them with no show socks because they rub the skin off the back of my ankle/calf at the very top. Just wear tall socks. I also always wear my $20 Amazon gaiters with them, and they work well together.

Very comfortable and breathable, even kept feet relatively cool while surveying in 100+ degrees! Would not recommend if looking for ankle stability; they're very flexible and not super supportive.

Changed shoe
I ended up returning these and going back to the original Altra hiker. These felt more narrow and not the same in the support.

Used shoes, buyer beware!!!
Shoes did not come in original box and had been worn. There is mud and dirt on the bottom of the shoes, signs of wear and no packaging material. I normally am a big fan of Altra shoes.
