Brilliant
I was apprehensive buying this because it’s expensive. But I love it, it keeps me cool and the filter is peace of mind for my hayfever 🤗

Noisy
Very noisy on the higher fan Settings. The night mode and lower quieter settings are not very powerful so I suspect it won’t be very cooling in a heatwave unless happy to put up with the noise. I guess it is more an air purifier than a fan and it looks good. It turns out the air quality in our bedroom is very good in spite of the main road outside so we don’t need it after all ! so that’s reassuring. Overall I would not buy again, mainly because of the noise.

Hard working, well designed
We've had lots of air purifiers over the years, this one is one of the higher end ones we've used. Being Dyson i knew both the design and quailty was going to be great, and wasn't disappointed. While its quite a large unit it doesnt feel imposing and sits in a corner quite subtly, rotating away. Both myself and my partner are allergic to cats, and of course have two of them. Aswell as many allergies, along with my partner vaping. So air quailty is quite important to me. This sits in our large living room and we typically have it set to automatic, I must say it works hard! And more importantly seems to make a noticeable difference after a few days. Ive gotten into the habit of checking the data on the app (because im getting to that age where im genuinely interested in otherwise boring things) and I can pinpoint when my partner is vaping, when the feliway diffusers are on, when I've been dusting. And it picks it all up perfectly, a visible spike of poorer air quailty, it then kicks up in a higher mode and works even harder while it needs to. On its higher settings its quite loud, I would have it in the bedroom no problem at all, I just wouldn't have it on anything much more than its lower settings. Price point is the only thing I would mark it down for, while it works fantasticly, looks good and has a decent app - there are others I've used that are nearly as good for a quite a bit less. Saying that though, you're buying a name, reputation, support and warranty with this unit too.

Smart, powerful and genuinely satisfying to use
I got this Dyson Purifier Cool PC1 as my first Dyson cooling and air quality unit, and I have to say, it didn’t disappoint a single bit. I already use a couple of purifiers from Aaira and Medify around the house, so I had a good point of comparison — and this one fits in very well. The air quality sensor and the app connection were exactly what I was looking for. Being able to monitor performance and see what’s happening in real time makes a big difference, especially when you already have multiple purifiers running in different rooms. The app itself is clean, minimalist and very easy to use — no unnecessary complications. In terms of performance, it just works. The airflow is strong, the purification feels effective, and the overall experience is smooth and well thought out. Like most Dyson products, it gives that “premium appliance” feel where everything just clicks into place and does what it’s supposed to do without fuss. The only slight downside for me was checking the price of replacement filters. They’re not cheap, which is something to keep in mind long term. That said, it’s good to know there are alternatives available if needed, even though I’ll probably still stick with the original Dyson filters. Overall, it’s a high-quality, smart and reliable purifier with cooling that actually delivers. Very happy with it, and an easy 5 stars despite the filter cost.

Stylish
I’ve been using the Dyson Purifier Cool PC1 for a few weeks now, and it’s made a noticeable difference in my home environment. The air feels cleaner almost immediately, and it’s comforting to know that it’s capturing dust, allergens, and other particles that I wouldn’t even notice otherwise. It’s especially helpful during high-pollen days or when I’ve been cooking. The cooling function is excellent too. Even on warmer days, it circulates air effectively, and the adjustable settings let me get just the right airflow without being noisy. I also appreciate the sleek design—it doesn’t take up much space and looks modern, blending seamlessly into my living area. Setting it up was simple, and the controls are intuitive, whether I’m using the app or the remote. Overall, it’s a well-rounded appliance that combines air purification with cooling in a way that actually feels noticeable. My home feels fresher, more comfortable, and healthier, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed having it running daily. For anyone looking to improve air quality while staying cool, this is a solid investment and earns a full 5 stars from me.

Precision and H13 Filtration
Dyson Purifier Cool PC1 Powerful Cooling Purifier (White/White) First of all - I hesitated whether to give it a 4 or 5 stars, but at the end it is a very nice filter/fan - although it does come with some issues. It is a high-performance atmospheric filter/fan designed to bridge the gap between simple air circulation and high-grade purification. The technical core of the machine is its adherence to the HEPA H13 standard. Unlike basic filters, the entire unit is fully sealed to H13 specifications, ensuring that 99.95% of ultra-fine particles as small as 0.1 microns, including allergens, bacteria, and viruses are all trapped rather than leaked back into the room. The machine utilises a precision stepper-motor oscillation system. Controlled via the remote (or control panel in the unit itself), this allows the user to define a specific arc of purification (from 45° to 360°). This targeted delivery ensures that the machine focuses its output on high-occupancy areas rather than wasting airflow on empty corners. The lowest fam mode is 1, and it gives a little breeze, great for sping or autoumn days but for winter??? Hmm, I wasn't sold. But then I discovered the Auto Mode. In this setting, the machine utilises real-time telemetry from integrated particulate (PM2.5/PM10) and gas sensors (VOCs) to dictate fan speed. When the air quality is 'Good' the airflow drops to a maintenance state lower than the manual Level 1 setting. This minimises power consumption and prevents unnecessary wind chill during colder months, effectively acting as a reactive shield that only increases velocity when pollutants are detected. As others mentioned, the unit comes with almost no instructions, I needed to dig really deep to learn what room surface area it covers - it appears that it is okay for rooms up to 35 m2. The app is basic, but allows you to control the panel, see the pollutant levels etc. I also saw some reviews saying their unit came scratched. my came absolutely pristine, safely wrapped inside, then in cardboard box and then wrapped in plastic outside. Operates on UK plug. 5 stars. A scientifically robust air-management system. While it lacks the backwards-airflow 'Diffused Mode' of higher-tier models, its auto-mode efficiency and H13-sealed filtration make it a premier tool for maintaining clean and healthy environment at home.

Great addition to the house for summer.
I've had this going for a few days now while working away in my office to keep it cool and I'm pretty impressed. The overall quality of the product is great as you'd expect from dyson and it's pretty easy to set up. size is a Little bit taller than I first thought but you get used to it. Easy to use app and handy little remote work great. The noise is quiet on the lower settings but does get a bit louder on the highest setting if you're thinking of using it for sleeping. The only issues I have is that at the start during set up, it kept coming up with a power issue on the control panel and not working. I'm unsure if this was a fault but after I un plugged and plugged back in, then reset it on the app, it seemed to work fine. I also think that for the price, it should be more powerful. I've hd old fans be more powerful than this. I also think you really need to decide if you just want a cooling fan, might be worth look at their other products in the range that does hot and cool.
