Takes the guess work out of enriching your garden
This unit is fantastic! The dead band setting allows me to keep CO2 levels within a desired range, rather than turning my regulator on and off constantly by having a single set-point (fuzzy logic). It's very well constructed and a piece of cake to use. All you need to know is how much CO2 you want, set it, you're done.I will note a couple of things: The CO2 "counter" only shows increments of 100 ppm, which is no big deal. (I didn't know it had a "counter" till after I got it) The photo shows a detachable remote sniffer, but the unit actually comes with the remote hard-wired. (Dealer says they're working on changing to photo to reflect the actual product) And the remote can only be placed 15' from the controller, which isn't as far as it sounds if you run the wire up a wall or around the edges of a room. Finally, I found out that the photo cell on the remote is so ridiculously sensitive that the IR light (850nm) from a night vision camera is enough to make the sniffer think it's "day". I even turned the remote's sensor away from the camera, but the reflected "light" from the IR LEDs was still enough to call for CO2. I eventually had to put tape over the sensor so it only calls for CO2 when my actual lights are on. I know most people won't have IR cameras, but keep in mind that total darkness is required to disable the regulator. The tiniest bit of light will cause the remote to think it's "day".All in all, I absolutely love this unit. No more guess work. No more timers. No more worrying about opening the door, since this unit will self-correct to any changes I make while coming and going. Just set it, and forget it.

Terrible product- discontinued by Titan Controls
This product has been discontinued by Titan Controls due to reliability issues. Mine arrived in a timely fashion, brand new. Upon connecting to power source for calibration, the indicator LEDs were both on continuously, indicating the CO2 sensor was bad. I called Titan Tech support, and the very friendly operator said that the Atlas 9 was discontinued for that very issue. He advised to return product and to instead purchase the Atlas 2. In the process of returning Atlas 9 now.

good product except
in the description it says green lights to tell you co2 ppm.unfortunately one is green that tells you the power is on and the other two that tells you the ppm one is red one is yellow.this would not be a problem if when the photocell turns off the power it also quit reading the ppm but it does n.ot not quite sure how an oversight of having a red and yellow light blinking brightly during the night time happened.I called Titan control to find out how to turn it off as I figured there had to be a way but there is not his response was we send it to China to be made and we haven't even looked at it we haven't seen it and I should just put a piece of black tape over it ,now that will work of course but when you pay few hundred dollars for a product you don't expect an answer to a problem that should have never happened is for u to throw a piece of black tape over it.he didn't say anything about trying to fix it or even acknowledging that it mattered it was just okay because they never checked itI guess that's the best way to deal with things is to just say that's the way it is when you work for Titan it makes me sad because I really like how the controller works but I'm not willing to pay good money for products they have customer support and quality control that borders on not caring.thought at least you would get a oops or maybe we'll go try to get it fixed or I'm sorry sir or anything besides just put a piece of black tape over it and have a good day.who really wants to buy any product from a company that never even checked they're finished product before they start selling it that's either just lazy don't care or not smart enough to even think about it no matter which one it is it will be the last Titan product I buy
