Are the Elk and Friends mason drinking jars safe for toddlers to use?

Yes! Our jars are made from durable glass and wrapped in a food grade silicone sleeve for extra protection. They're 100% BPA, PVC and phthalate free, safe for little hands and every day family use.

Do the jars leak if tipped over?

The drinking lid seals tightly to prevent spills, however are not leak proof. The straw features a built-in stopper to help stop curious little ones from pulling it out. The storage lid has a silicone seal to lock in freshness and prevent leaks.

What drinks can I use these cups for?

They're great for water, smoothies, milk and juices. The straw design is open-ended (no valve), allowing thicker drinks like smoothies and shakes to flow easily.

Can I put these in the dishwasher?

Absolutely! We designed every part - glass jar, silicone sleeve, straws and lids to be all dishwasher safe. You don't even need to remove the silicone sleeve when cleaning! We do recommend the top rack for easy cleaning and long lasting use.

Are the lids interchangeable or compatible with other Elk and Friends drinking jars?

Yes! Our 8oz lids are designed to be mixed and matched across our Elk and Friends mason jar range, fitting our 12oz glass mason jars, 10oz and 14oz stainless steel mason jars.

As advertised

I first saw my young grandchildren with these cups and loved the concept of them. The straw stayed in the cup, the silicone sleeve protected the glass as I witnessed the cups being knocked around by little hands with no breakage and minimal spillage. My order was missing a seal and I contacted the team with the email provided. Their response was extremely quick and they are sending me a replacement seal. My grandchildren are almost 4 and 17 months. We haven’t let the 17 month old walk around with the cup but they are definitely perfect for at the table.

Loving the bright colours

Deliberated a long while between these and the pastel muted shades but am glad I got these cheery coloured ones! Tumbler makes it easy for my 15 month old to drink water. Only downside is that it’s not a waterbottle so it’s not as suitable for bringing out.
