Vive Wooden Walking Stick Mahogany

I got this Walking Stick for my Husband more as a joke since he sometimes has problems bending over and picking things up, but the stick gives him something to hold onto and makes it easier to walk around and do some yard work. Its the perfect hight and is sturdy and nicely made. He has used it often and is very happy with it. Maybe I need to get one for myself as well, since we do have a lot of coyotes in our area were I walk the dog, it might be very handy for that as well.

I got one of these because it’s supposed to keep you standing up straight rather than a cane and it does. It is a wonderful product, perfect height and very good looking. I plan on doing some woodburning in it to make it even prettier. Glad I got it. It’s a winner.

My husband gets so many comments about how well made it is & the height. He feels secure & stable with it.

This is a nice sturdy walking stick that is lightweight. I didn't notice that it had a leather string when I bought it, otherwise, I may not have bought it. Being a vegan, I don't buy leather products. Maybe try a different material or no string at all for those who don't use leather. The only other negative aspect are the horizontal grooves that go around the top of the stick – they are uncomfortable to put my hand on when I'm walking. I think the stick would be much more comfortable if it was simply smooth to hold at the top (without the grooves). They actually hurt my hand as I walk. But otherwise, it is a sturdy walking stick and it is very nice looking (the stained and coated wood). The rubber boot at the bottom of the stick is very sturdy too and a nice feature.
