Easy to use and filled the door molding perfectly
Perfect for some door moldings that needed to be repaired and this worked seamlessly and so easily filled the cracks and crevices. Looks great and you can't even tell it's there at all, simple to use and highly recommended

Colored Wood filler
Great product. Used to fill holes. Color matched up well. Easy to work with and would definitely buy again in different colors for different projects. As described and fast shipping.

Little thin but works well with repeated layering
Itโs a bit thinner than you want for reworking trim. But it will get the job done. The finished product turned out excellent.

Works great!!!
Definitely fills wood, easy to sand and takes paint very well. Highly recommend for wood repairs, it does obviously dry white so you will need to stain if it's dark wood you're repairing.

A+
DIYer here. I bought a few wood fillers to try out on the many old staple and nail holes in the moldings in our 1960s home. I found I prefer this one as it fills where you put it fairly well the first go -round, and can even be modeled to flesh out dinged edges on sill and molding edges. Most important to me is that it is not so dense that when it is dry, it is hard to sand it flat. In fact, a super plus, it was very easy to sand, saving me a lot of time during repair of the umpteen-million (slight exaggeration) baseboards and door and window casings in our home. Pretty cool too is the fact, that when my professional carpenter husband borrowed this stuff to fill nail holes at one of his jobs, he totally agreed with me that this stuff is A+.

Use this in place of spackle. Much better product.
I use this stuff to patch nail holes on the walls and it works so much better then spackle. When you use spackle a lot of the time it dries with a concave divot and you need to apply another coat. This plastic wood latex filler dries flat so you only need one coat usually. It also dries very quickly which is very convenient. It is super easy to apply and does not have any noticeable smell. The color is like a light beige with a little yellow tinge to it. It covers very easily with paint and can be sanded down nicely. Highly recommend this product over spackle.

Not 6 oz as advertised
The product works well at filling voids in wood. It is easy to use and sands to a very smooth surface. One issue: The tube is labeled as 6 oz. Net at, but the tube (or at least the one I bought) contains around 2 oz of product. First use I had to almost fold the tube in half before product came out.

White DAP Plastic Wood Filler is the best DRYWALL-repair product around. Period.
This product isโhands downโmy favorite wood filler (although the packaging could be greatly improved). After you use about half the tube, it requires a lot of hand strength to dispense the rest of the product. Despite my weak woman hands and the overly thick packaging, I'm still a devoted fan because it's such a versatile product. For exampleโI use it mostly for wall drywall repair. Yes. Drywall repair. After trying out dozens of different types of spackling and drywall compounds, I've found that nothing beats a tube of white DAP Plastic Wood Filler. It doesn't shrink, becomes almost as strong as the drywall panel itself, andโonce dryโ sands down and takes paint like a dream. (For repair areas that need to support load-bearing nails or wall anchors, Mohawk Epoxy Putty Stick in White is the way to go). Bonusโafter my drywall repair spot is flush with the surface, I simply dapple some additional DAP wood filler over the area, let it dry for a few minutes, and then smooth/shape it with a small boar's-hair paint brush and water. Presto chango. I have wall texture! No messy cans of spray texture required. DAPโplease offer the white plastic wood filler in the tub size. I'm SO over compounds.

ideal for smoothing 3D printed parts
I use this on PLA+ 3D printed parts and it works great, can be thinned with a little water or Acetone if you need it to dry quickly. I would suggest cleaning with a damp cloth as even when dried and sanded this stuff seams to wash off in water pretty easily. Paints over with no issues.

Mold & shaping
Easy to mold or shape . . but yet to see how tough it is when its dries up.

New product for me
I have not used this certain plastic wood before. So far, so good. I did not get a chance to stain it, due to unexpected rain for days. The cracks in my wood deck are still sealed well. Some areas where it was not level, water would pool on it and the plastic wood, would turn yellow. I will sand that down and really let it dry out. Other woodfillers do not work outside. Plastic is excellent
