What's the country of origin for these?

These oysters are from China. Before you buy these please check with your state guidelines regarding seafood imported from China. I know that some states (like CA) have in the past, banner oysters and shellfish harvested in Chinese waters. The level of toxins was considered too high and safety guidelines are often known to be flouted by Chinese distributors. So, consume at your own risk. Or pay a little more for sustainably harvested oysters from a county like South Korea.

Is this just one highly overpriced can or 10 or 12 or 8 cans?

It does indeed pop up like that now, as I, too just received my order of 10 cans at 20 $$ as you say. It was weirdly attached to “buy again” hope it’s not a scam, catch us. They should put back 10 can clause.

Why china? pacific ocean - american company ... so they are canned in china ??

China has a lot of coastline on the Pacific. The box states they are packed for Roland Foods. I assume they are harvested and prepared in China. They taste pretty good.
