Even though I only needed 4k for my Apple TV 4K device by having that extra I was able to take full advantage of the full signal and get amazing clarity on picture snd sound. For the price this is definitely a value! I would not hesitate not question buying this. And I have other Anker products as Lalo deliver amazing lit. Don’t settle for less - not worth saving a $ or 2 by going with anything cheaper. Go for it if you are leaning towards it
