no color at all for soap
when added to my soap it turned it to a yellow color, and when i tried to add in scents to it they just kept trying to separate from the clay Edited: the company contacted me and allowed me to do a return for the full amount, I am very impressed with the way they handled this matter and their company.

Not very purple
This color will only yield a very dull purple if you're using it in soaps fyi. Not very pretty.

A little goes a long way
I was out of a different brand, so I was really thrilled to be able to try this out. I mix it with water to create a skin tightening "mask" or I also mix it with coconut oil to create a moisturizing mask (this one does not "dry" on your skin per se). It can also be used in body scrub (I add it to my sugar scrub recipe) and with soaps although I've never tried the latter. A little goes a very long way when mixing it with water. I also use a skin/cosmetic spatula to apply it to my face rather than my fingers. Once dried (water base), it rinses easily with warm water. I use a disposable wipe to wipe off most of the oil-based mask, then wash with warm water after. Word of caution: this comes in a vacuum sealed bag, so be careful when cutting the bag open. Cut a small slit first to allow air into the bag so the contents can settle to the bottom. Also, when using the water-based mask, once it dries it will flake off (like dandruff), so it's best not to be eating while wearing the mask LOL
