It is built really well. I am not sure about the adhesive part, seems it will not last and may to put another type of adhesive.

I honestly think the people having adhesive issues just didn't use proper procedures for a permanent installation (clean surface, keep pressure on, flat surfaces only, etc). I applied this to the back of a synthetic leather case (less than ideal surface) and a year and a half later it is clearly not going anywhere.The reason I am back here is because every so often (every few months), especially after the clip catches on something, there is a pin that comes out. I put it back together a few times, but this last time the pin got lost. Would I have had this problem with an otterbox type belt clip? No, probably not, but it would have been WAY more bulky and more difficult to use. This clip is SO EASY to use, so much more comfortable than other types, and allows so much flexibility in how to use it, that I have no problem accepting this inconvenience.

The quality of this product is fine, but the adhesive is not strong enough to secure the phone to the clip. I followed the instructions and thoroughly cleaned the back of my Motorola G6 and affixed the mount to the phone and let it sit 24 hours. The phone attached itself to the clip easily, but the adhesive did not hold and my phone fell to the floor, shattering its screen. I was not putting any strain on the mount/clip at the time it failed. Not recommended!

I like the sturdiness. It has metal clips that really grip. The base that sticks to the phone (or phone case) is wide & that offers good stability.I DON'T like how difficult it is to get the base into the clip hole. I have to stop whatever I'm doing, look down, line up the 2 parts then push to click. Nearly impossible to do in the dark, or just by touch or memory.That's one of the things I liked about the cheaper plastic belt clips, there's a track to slide the knob down so it clicks into the holder. There was no need to look, you could easily find the opening. This is hit & miss unless you stop & look.One more thing I miss, is the ability to rotate my phone while its clicked onto the belt clip.

Holds onto anything, even a t-shirt. Can be used with a belt as well. Comes off to use phone without clip and lays practically flat when put down. Works as a stand in both directions. Comes with spare back connecter so it can be used with two devices.

I absolutely love this type of belt clip its thin, not obtrusive and very reliable and you can trust your phone isn't just going to fall off like I feared at first. I've bought 3 now and actually need a 4th. Buy the only problem is I've bought 3 and need a 4th, for the same phone. The problem isn't the button that attaches to phone or case, its the belt clip. If you get it caught on something 2 times or more it breaks apart at the hinge. The newer model was much better because it had a removable pin you could fish back through and continue use where the old model had a plastic piece that when it snapped it was done for. It would be great if you would make replacement belt clips so you could just buy the broken part when it happens or have a limited warranty so you could be guaranteed at least a certain amount of time. But all and all it is still my 1st choice when I do want to purchase a belt clip system.

I work construction and it is the best belt clip I've ever had.it holds up very well.

This supposedly industrial strength adhesive cannot manage the pull pressure from the clip. When the clip is used regularly, the adhesive gave in from the bottom and slowly peeled away from the case. So disappointing.
