Great bike, my son has gone through several pairs of tires and tubes already. This bike is a beast... I switched the front forks to an adjustable fork, I switched out the bolts for quick release skewers, I purchased the bottom crank bracket tools to tighten the crank, the brakes will be ready for new pads and cables soon. 2 years old and still rides like the day we bought it. I recommend buying bike grease, chain oil, pliers, 2 adjustable wrenches and allen tools to service and adjust the bike after long rides. Seat adjustment, tightening a loose hub, brake adjustment as the pads wear... I put a phone mount and mirrors on the bike for riding on bike/ running paths here in Sacramento. Good luck, I recommend this bike for 12-20 year olds who want to get some exercise and not spend alot of money.

This is not a 21 speed bike. It is a 7 speed. But besides that it was simple enough to put together. Brakes required extra tuning and front rim was a little warped.

Took it to a bike shop and the real cog was tight so i couldn't pettle backwards and now the gear shifter is broken but other than that its okay. 😐

This was my first time purchasing a bike at an online store, and it will be my last. Things I didnt think about, tools, the bike ships with no tools to put the bike together. The instruction booklet is awful/hard to understand, and the pictures are just as bad. There are instruction in the booklet for other bikes that I did not purchase, but that is labeled, how do I spend basically $300 and not have instruction specifically for the bike I bought. So, I tried to look up videos for Mongoose Flatrock Mountain Bike, found all kinds of Mongoose Mnt. Bike videos but none of them were like the Flatrock bike I purchased, so that wasnt of any help. Took me two hours to put the thing together, I have a really crappy alan wrench, and it made the process to be unbearable. Its together, but me figuring it out on my own, I still have no ideo if the handlebars raise up, maybe I will try later. The bike does look nice, I dont know how it rides yet, I was just kinda pissed off and putting the bike together. If I was you buy from a store...unless you know what you are doing.

Really nice bike 👍 easy to put together 😊 will last a really long time 👍I highly recommend if you go biking a lot ❣️ it's expensive but worth it
