I ordered this specifically for my daughter's 19th birthday. She is very artistic and has recently been inclined to ask more questions and discuss her faith in general. I thought this might be something that would enhance her Bible reading, express her creativity, and enrich her Scriptural journey. I bought a different option of this same Bible version and am going to ask her to read through the Book of John together with me so we can grow together in our faith!This does not have Bible tabs, but did come with colored twisting pencils which is a great start for her. The lightly lined margins on pages without illustrations to color will allow her to make notes as she pleases. I am so excited to gift this to her!

It’s a beautiful Bible. I love the cover! I put a pic of my hand on it for comparison. The pages are a tiny bit thicker than regular Bible pages so I was worried that a highlighter would bleed through. I took pics for you to see one side and then the other. It didn’t bleed through like it did with my last Bible, so that was a relief! I’ve also included a pic of the coloring pencils that came with it as compared to a pen tip. It’s a bit fatter and I coloured in the W on the first page of journaling. Unfortunately, I don’t think you’ll be able to use these pencils to color the thin text. 😞 I will order some special fine-tipped markers that don’t bleed through to do the small stuff. There’s plenty of room for notes and I’m excited to start studying and relaxing with it. My one complaint? The text is an 8 which is quite small. But I’ll just put my ol’ glasses on and it should be fine.My new Bible arrived the NEXT DAY!! How awesome is that? Thank you, Amazon! I would gift this to journaling enthusiasts in a heartbeat. ❤️

I gave this to my 11 y/o niece for Christmas and her eyes absolutely lit up when she saw it. I want to buy a dozen more of this, one for everyone I know. The print is legible and not to tiny. There is plenty of room for journaling, lots of beautiful images to color to reflect on the word of God while you read it, the pages are standard thickness and consistency for a Bible of this size. I was impressed when it arrived and I saw the quality of the images to color. Just the right amount of white space to not be tedious and not so much black that you feel like the image isn't worth your time. I would recommend one of these to anyone who wants to gift a Bible to someone teenager and upwards and to buy an extra for yourself.

The cover and design of this Bible is great for journaling. The gift box it arrives in is beautiful and perfect for gifting. The pages are thicker than other Bibles, making it easier to color and journal, but be aware that pressing down on the page will leave indentations on the pages behind. I gave 3.5 stars because the colored pencils included are twistable and are really too thick to color most of the designs. This Bible does not have red letters in the New Testament- I knew that when purchasing, but I do miss that in this Bible. There is space in the margins on every page to make your own notes if desired. Many of the pages include artwork and lettering to color using passages from the Bible.

My daughter loves her Bible, and I feel like has spent more time in the Word on her own since receiving it. The coloring pages are beautiful and perfect as a step up from her youth Bible. Thank you for making this lovely Bible.

My daughter (11yrs old) absolutely loves this bible! It has just enough pre-sketched art for her to color in plus room to make her own and take her own notes. Perfect bible for her!
