No Crema!
I like these reusable pods for the fact that I'm not constantly discarding large amounts of plastic which, as we know, is bad for the planet. The coffee tastes fine but I don't think that they work as well as the disposable ones. With a disposable pod a level of pressure is achieved before you hear it 'pop' and deliver the coffee. I think it's this pressure that creates the creamy layer on top of the finished drink, it also probably helps to get the most out of the small amounts of grounds used in them. These reusable pods have no pressure build-up and the hot water just sort of 'trickles' through the grounds, not providing the best result. It would be good if you could develop some sort of seal and pressure valve system into a reusable pod that could achieve a similar result. So all-in-all, I'm happy I'm not using too much plastic. I think the finished drink is not as good as it should be. I'm not sure that I'm saving money on coffee itself as a fair bit has to be used per cup. I can't comment on durability because I've only used it a few times. I would say though that each of these pods is supposed to have around 50 uses before needing to be discarded. It's better than one use but at the end of the day we're still chucking plastic away. Could we not have say a metallic one that lasts longer than that?

Better coffee and better for environment :)
No problems using this in my Dolce Gusto machine.Just fill with favourite Espresso ground coffee and you're good to go.Don't fill too full or the coffee will trickle out very slowly. Got it right on 2nd cup and happy with my Lavazza coffee.Taste is as good as, if not better than, the Dolce Gusto espresso and you don't need to throw away a plastic capsule at the end. Of course, there is more faff in preparing/filling/rinsing out but that's all part of the ritual.Until Nescafe can sort out recycling for their capsules I will continue with this. It works out loads cheaper as well.

Not compatible with Nespresso machines
I bought these thinking they were Nespresso capsules as it mentions Nespresso in the description and says they are compatible with my machine in one of the pictures, but they are actually for the dolce gusto machines. This should be made clearer in the name and description of the item.

Great pods
These are amazing! Easy to fill, use & clean. Save money on not having to buy the individual pods. I’ve used all types of coffee grounds in them

Align the hole !
Microwave a cup of milk for 2mins, lavazaa coffee - Boom. Delicious cup of coffee without all the plastic and expensive pods. Been using them for around 6months on the same 3 pods. Dishwash them to clean.

Just remember to position it well in the machine
If you do not place it so that the needle of the machine goes through the hole, it might damage de capsule, the needle, and your coffee will be ruined. But it is just a small step of attention you must take, and you safe loads of money in coffee using these capsules AND the amount of waste you prevent is incredible if you are a heavy coffee drinker.

Great idea...
I think that these are a great idea but so far I haven’t been able to achieve the same great taste achieved by using the sealed pods that are recommended for these coffee makers.
