Seems to work. I was told to use sugarfree lozenges for my dry vocal chords. Tried today before I gave a speech, and it worked, so I'll be ordering more. As a bonus, they have a very pleasant taste and texture...smooth gummies.

Not sweet. I think they are perfect lozenges. They are not hard candy. Love the little tin that they come in.

These taste great, pretty close to Halls’ honey & lemon drops except without the abrasiveness of hard candy. It’s an interesting texture; softer than a hard candy but firmer than a gummy. It’s a little odd at first, but it quickly becomes very satisfying. And, most importantly, it’s really helpful with vocal recovery after a hellish illness.

They taste amazing, but they do nothing for my sore throat. It's more like having a piece of chewy candy than something to sooth a sore throat. Also, no where on the package does it say how many to take at a time or how many you can take per day. I had to look it up (it says don't exceed 12 a day). I also looked up you shouldn't chew it but let it dissolve in your mouth (which takes a while) and you can repeat every 2 hours. The package does, however state can have a laxative affect so just FYI. As other reviews had said they are not individually wrapped so don't keep them in sunlight or in the car.

Works as advertised; kept my vocal cords lubricated with no unsightly aftereffects.
