It’s okay…
We’ve been disappointed in using it. Doesn’t cut the way we expected it to. But, of course it could be user error! 🙃

easy to use
works ok. I'm not sure what I expected but if you put stuff on a plate you can chop a lot up pretty quickly. It just doesn't work well for lettuce and spinach.

I wish I loved this
I saw this being used on a food video about big salads and thought, I could use that! I eat salad almost every day and expected this to be a time-saver. Not so much. It really doesn't cut the greens very well at all. Maybe I'm using it wrong, I don't know. Anyway, it sits in my drawer mostly.

My new favorite kitchen tool
The Mezzaluna Chopper works as described. I have had no problem chopping spinach, kale, lettuce, cabbage, etc. It works in bowls of different shapes and materials (glass, metal--haven't tried it in plastic) as long as I use the recommended rocking motion. A chopping motion works for some vegetables, but rocking is important for getting the job done quickly and efficiently. Note that you need to apply pressure as you rock the blade, so anyone with arm or hand problems might have trouble using this tool. Even so, I find this tool easier and less messy than using a knife. The chopper is easy to clean, fits my hand well (female, size 7.5 glove), and makes quick work of preparing salads without getting out a cutting board (assuming you have already removed the core of head vegetables and separated the leaves.) It is light-weight but solid--no wimpy, bendy metal in this tool. The blade protectors are a nice addition.

Simplistic cutting
One bowl, this knive means less dishes and a faster way to have a variety of items thrown into one bowl. It works absolutely fantastic for my new healthy fast lifestyle!I reduced my salad prep time and stopped eating junk! Thank you so much! I love this product and keep it in a separate utensil bowl on my shelve - grab, use, wash it and ready to grab again for next time.

Get Chopping!
I do love a chopped salad - there's something about the tiny pieces which are much more attractive to me. That being said - know that you need about 4 times as much lettuce as what you normally use. I just throw the lettuce (I use a blend of a few) and basil leaves into a large stainless bowl and chop away - in just a minute, after tossing in all your fixing, you have an amazing chopped salad. I add dressing after I've stopped chopping, so a simple rinse of the tool and let it air dry.

Excellent salad chopper, nice weight to it
This is an excellent salad chopper. It has a really nice weight to it and is quite sharp, making chopping very easy and quick. The finish is nice, easy to clean and no spots thus far (i towel-dry it). With the blades being as sharp as they are out of the box I expect that these will stay sharp for a long time, but I will report back if I notice any changes. Overall a really great deal for the price.
