I almost never write Amazon reviews, but came to say that I purchased this tub of hair ties more than 6 years ago at this point, finally getting to the bottom of the jar, and even with the time they still work as GREAT as day 1! I French braid my hair often typically double French braid, and even with using two at a time this tub has lasted for YEARS. They have the perfect amount of stretch without breaking, they are easy to remove as well. When swimming in chlorinated pools, or the ocean, bring a spare or two just in case, as I have noticed that they do occasionally (not every time) break after a few hours of either, but for the most part they last for all day long wear - hence why I have still given them 5 stars. Just purchased my second tub today!

These are great quality the only thing is they will break randomly if you try to do to much hair, so smaller hair parts is definitely best but for the cost it’s amazing

Very good rubber bands, not great because they start breaking after a few days wearing them which is fine because my plan is always to break them off and not to slide them off my hair to avoid pulling my hair out but if you’re planning on buying these to wear for long term hair styles like braids and such you have use two or three of them to reinforce them. Another review, had mentioned the container not being sealed and being concerned that there’s not the right amount of rubber bands in the container, but my concern would be spilling them all over not being careful when opening it the first time, because believe me, there’s a LOT of rubber bands in this jar for the price. But they’re worth every penny because they’re made not to break off your hair if use them correctly.

Love these things! They stretch and hold in my daughter's soft silky hair very well. Also when i try to take them out at the end of the day, they don't pull her hair either. These are worth the buy.

These look great but are only for short term. Do not use these for dread extensions or braids that you keep in for more than a day. After a few days the elastics break and fall apart.
