This is outstanding paste. Used on my i9-9900K overclocked at 4.8 GHz (and later my RTX 2080). Before application the CPU was failing stress tests almost instantly under 100% load. I applied a very small amount according to Igor's Lab's method, and am now able to pass stress tests with ease, and idle temps sit at ~30°C during normal use. Highly recommended.

私が今まで使ってきた安いグリスに比べ、粘り気がかなりあります。 例えるなら噛んでいるガムくらいの硬さがあります。 CPUはintel i9 14900Kを使用していますが、明らかにPCのファンの回転が減りました。 おすすめです。今後はこれをリピしようと思います。

他のCPUグリスと比べ、大体2倍以上の価格がしますがそれだけの性能はあります。 グリスを伸ばすためにスパチュラと建築に使用されるようなセメントなどを乗せてブロックなどに貼り付けて伸ばす器具を小型化したような、CPUグリスの付属品としては初めて見るタイプの小物が付属していました。 ただ、持ち手の部分が長すぎてどの角度でもマザーボードの部品と干渉し、まともに使うことは出来ませんでした。 私は使いませんでしたが、もし使うなら持ち手部分をカットした方が使いやすいと思います。 このグリスは硬度が高く、スパチュラで伸ばそうとしても厚くなってしまい、かといって強く伸ばすと殆どスパチュラに張り付きヒートスプレッダ上に残りません。 なのでアイロン型の小物が付属しているのでしょうが、基本的にグリスは薄く塗った方が効果が高くなります。 特にこのグリスはその性質が強く出るようなのですが、手先が器用な方では無いので、細く×型にグリスを置いてCPUクーラーで圧着しました。 使用しているCPUはRyzen 9 9950Xで、OCしなくともピーク時の温度が高くなりサーマルスロットリングを起こしやすいです。 CPU-ZのストレステストだとTF7やPTM7950と言った物でも95度に張り付いてしまったのですが、このグリスですと一番温度が上がるコアでも93度前後で安定していました。 cinebench r23でも全コア90度を超えること無く完走しました。 簡易水冷とCO-12の設定でできる限り性能を落とさず発熱を抑えようとした構成ですが、今まで使用したCPUグリスの中では一番の性能を発揮してくれました。 難点はAmazonに在庫が無く、届くまで時間が掛かる点ですが、待っただけはありました。 グリスを伸ばす道具は付属しますが、グリスを拭き取る薬品付きのペーパーは付属しないため、別途IPAなどの電子機器清掃用の薬品を用意する必要があります。 長文となってしまいましたが、まとめてしまえば最高に良く冷えるグリスです。 価格などを考慮してもそれだけの価値がある、高発熱CPUやOCに向いた高性能グリスだと思います。

I just used this thermal paste to fix and put together a core i7 9700K build. I am amazed that I have not seen the CPU temperature go over 44C while playing games. Idle the CPU sits comfortably between 33C and 37C depending on how hot my room is. Definitely I will use the Grizzly Duronaut again for my Ryzen build later this year.

The effect is not really good. Just a normal one ... However, since I need to replace the old one, this one is good

J’ai utilisé la Thermal Grizzly (notamment la version Kryonaut) pour le remplacement de pâte thermique sur mon PC, et honnêtement on comprend vite pourquoi cette marque est autant recommandée dans le milieu du hardware. Dès l’application, on sent que le produit est sérieux. La texture est assez facile à étaler, pas trop liquide ni trop épaisse, ce qui permet une répartition homogène sur le processeur sans difficulté particulière. On n’a pas besoin d’en mettre beaucoup, une petite quantité suffit largement. Le vrai point fort, c’est évidemment les températures. Après remplacement, j’ai constaté une baisse visible par rapport à une pâte thermique standard. En charge (jeux, streaming, tâches lourdes), les températures sont plus stables et surtout mieux maîtrisées, ce qui permet au CPU de maintenir ses performances plus longtemps sans monter inutilement en chauffe. Sur un usage type gaming ou rendu, la différence peut ne pas sembler “spectaculaire” au premier abord, mais sur la durée et en charge prolongée, la stabilité thermique est clairement meilleure. C’est là que le produit prend tout son sens. Autre point important : la qualité globale et la fiabilité dans le temps. La pâte reste stable, ne sèche pas rapidement et garde de bonnes performances sur plusieurs mois d’utilisation, ce qui est rassurant pour un montage PC sérieux. Il faut aussi noter que c’est une pâte thermique orientée performance, donc elle est surtout intéressante pour les utilisateurs exigeants : gaming intensif, overclocking, streaming, ou machines haut de gamme comme un i9 ou un gros GPU. Points forts : ✔ Excellentes performances thermiques ✔ Baisse des températures CPU/GPU ✔ Facile à appliquer ✔ Bonne stabilité dans le temps ✔ Idéal PC gaming / haut de gamme ✔ Marque reconnue dans le monde du hardware Points à noter : ➖ Prix plus élevé que les pâtes thermiques classiques ➖ Gain surtout visible sur configs exigeantes Verdict : Très clairement une des meilleures pâtes thermiques du marché. Ce n’est pas un “gadget”, mais un vrai upgrade pour optimiser les températures et la stabilité d’un PC performant.

Zdaje efekt sprawdzony na i9-12900 i jestem mega zadowolony. Najważniejsze: ciężko się nakłada go. Są sposoby, aby na chwilę wsadzić do ciepłej wody, wtedy ponoć łatwiej się go rozprowadza.

As someone that has used Kryonaut for more years than I can actually remember, I wanted to try Duronaut out when I became aware of its existence. I did email Thermal Grizzly prior to buying to make sure that it was at least as effective as Kryonaut was (no point going backwards!) & was told that it is basically an improved version of Kryonaut but was given a different name as some people may prefer the consistency etc of Kryonaut. Performance-wise on an overclocked Intel i9 13900K cooled by an Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 360mm cooler (with Noctua NF-F12 Chromax fans & anti-vibration gaskets instead of supplied fans), the peak temperature was the same as Kryonaut after an hour of Cinebench multicore runs to ‘bed in’ the paste. There was no thermal throttling even being overclocked nor increase in fan speed than with Kryonaut. Application is a little easier as Duronaut is slightly thinner in consistency compared to the Kryonaut I have left to hand. Was easy to spread across the IHS with the supplied spatula. Value for money is also better than Kryonaut as it is a little cheaper gram for gram. The only thing I would like to see different is for the syringe to have what paste is inside it labelled on the outside as the syringe I got only had the Thermal Grizzly branding. This isn’t really a problem as I keep the syringe & applicators together in the outer packaging, but if you just put the tube in a drawer with other TG pastes, it could be easy to mix up which is which. Cannot give a long term use review as not had it for that long but for now it is performing as I would expect a TG product to. I wouldn’t use it for repasting GPU cores personally & the guy at Thermal Grizzly I communicated with via email also said the same. For GPU cores there are better products such as the sheet style TIMs. Would I rebuy Duronaut? Only time will tell but I do have high hopes for it going on what others I trust in the industry tell me.
