Good buy
This is a very nice double bar towel rack. There is enough distance for the towels to dry properly.

Nice towelbar, but installation problem
This towelbar looks nice & is sturdy. However, installing it disclosed a problem. Like most towelbars, you have to screw two little "base plates" to the wall. (That's easy: on drywall, drill four 5/16 holes and install anchors; I used TOGGLER TB Residential Drywall Anchors, bought from Amazon.) Then you mount the towelbar on those base plates. This requires tightening 4 tiny Allen head screws with a tiny hex wrench they supply. This is a very common method for mounting towelbars. The problem is that I could not get those darned little setscrews to grip the base plates tightly -- a common problem. The towelbar kept popping off. So I solved the problem by replacing those setscrews with REAL screws, #8x1/2" Phillips heads, which worked just fine, and were much easier to tighten. They stick out a little, but so what? The towels cover them anyway. Now the towelbar is rock solid.

Great double towel holder
Great double towel holder. We were looking for something sleek and simple. Goes well with the other fixtures in our bathroom. Easy to install as well. Just need a drill and a level

Terrible design. Installation nightmare.
If you like pulling your hair out, buy this poorly designed piece of crap. The instruction sheet is impossible to understand. Fortunately Amazon has an instructional video that explains what the printed sheet does not. Instead of providing a template to let you know where to drill the mounting plates, you are supposed to attach mounting tape to the plates while they are loose inside the towel bar. Good luck trying to press them on to the wall without them falling out. Add another level of difficulty if you are trying to use a level to mount it straight. Also the depression in the towel bar that holds the mounting plate is much wider then the plate itself so there is a lot of play when pressing it against the wall so you can mark the drill holes. Because of the wiggle room, the plates I mounted were about a 1/16" off so I had trouble fitting the bar on the mounting plates. Fortunately one side was against a stud so I drilled long screws to loosely hold the plate and that gave me enough play to finally get the bar on. Attaching the bar to the plate requires you to use 2 allen screws on each side. Trying to turn the screws with the allen wrench is a pain in the ass. Fortunately I have a set of straight screwdriver type allen wrenches. The job that should have taken me 15 minutes took me an hour and a half.
