SH5435 Stronghold versatile heavy duty triangular 14" - 16" wheel clamp

Everything is a compromise, including vehicle security. The compromise with this product is that it is very heavy, however it is because of this weight and build quality that this wheel clamp is very robust and secure. I would just add, be prepared to assemble and disassemble this multiple times initially, just to obtain the optimum close fit for maximum security. Once you have the thing assembled properly, it's pretty easy to fit it and remove it using the key. With vehicle security all you can do is make your vehicle difficult to steal, you cannot make it impossible to steal. This clamp will make the vast majority of vehicle thieves seek an easier target. I would recommend this clamp if you want peace of mind.

This is a good product, which looks solid and strong. It is not easy to assemble, but once fitted, can be removed and re-fitted easyli.

It does what it says on the box, strong/sturdy/quality. Down side, its heavy IT HAS TO BE! can damage your hub cap, but i put a thick dish cloth foam behind it to protect it, this works, very happy.

This clamp is ineffective on some 14” wheels. It can easily be removed without needing to open the lock. It works fine with 15” wheels and above. It’s also heavy and due to the design makes fitting and handling the components as you assemble onto the wheel tricky. I’m also not sure how strong the lock is. Certainly not as described.

Fast delivery simple assembly good sturdy looking wheel clamp which should slow down any would be thief.

Very Heavy and a bit fiddley to put on , but gets easier with practice. Very visual deterrent to would be thieves

I found it sturdy and good value BUT I think that the most important part , THE LOCK , seems weak and Ithink that 5mins with a cordless drill would see it off. I would be interested in the manufacturer's opinion on that. There was no mention about the lock and it's cheap and easily duplicated keys.

Does what it says but, you need to be quite dexterous to fit it single handed. Also took me while to get it assembled correctly. It says on the advertising that it comes in a storage container. Stupidly i assumed this would be for when it was assembled to keep it when not in use! Wrong it only fits the case when disassembled!!

Ich habe mir die Parkkralle für meinen Bootsanhänger gekauft, sie passt super, sichert den Anhänger vorm Diebstahl und gleichzeitig vorm wegrollen. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen

Für kleine Anhängerreifen nicht zu gebrauchen, die Stahlteile müssten gekürzt werden. In dem Karton fehlten Anleitung und Garantiekarte. Zwei Gewinde waren nicht gängig und mussten erst mit einer anderen Maschineneschraube bearbeitet werden. Dem ganzen extrem massiven Konstrukt steht ein Mini- Einsteckschloss gegenüber das es dann zusammengesteckt sichert. Würde sie auf den Anhänger-Reifen passen wären es sicher 5 Sterne geworden.

groß und schwer, die Kralle kommt in einem Koffer im zerlegten Zustand an. Den Koffer kann man leider im zusammengesetzten Zustand nicht mehr zur Aufbewahrung der Kralle verwenden. Das montieren geht einfach , nur bei der justage für die Reifengröße war ein wenig Zeitraubend. Einmal eingestellt funktioniert es aber . Im zusammengesetzten Zustand ist die Kralle sehr sperrig

Mit einem einfachen Pickingset im einstelligen Eurobereich lässt sich das Schloss selbst von einen Ungeübten binnen Minuten öffnen. Ein professioneller Lochpicker hat das Schloss innerhalb einer Minute auf. Das alles völlig lautlos, ohne Spuren zu hinterlassen. Also diese Parkkralle ist mit dem Schloss nichts wert.
