I bought this a month and half ago as it as said to be good for thick hair. While it cuts alright through some thick hair, most of the hair goes inside the assembly, so I have to clean it halfway through and that takes roughly the same time as me using it. While it’s “washable”, the out take channel on the bottom is used by the clippers to lock in the beard, body hair and hair attachments so if you want to protect the blade like I do, then water will remain inside the unit causing rust. Overall it’s badly designed for cutting hair and will probably burn out the motor in a year or two, either due to hair buildup or corrosion.
