My vac wasn't a Mele but I measured and found the wand to be the same size as this. Sure enough, fits like a glove. Just not useful for power delivery to a beater brush, but that's not my use case so this is perfect! It's about 6 inches longer than my old one, which makes a WORLD of difference for vacuuming without hunching over! I think it's a bit much for essentially two rolled steel tubes, but even hoover charges WAY more for this than these guys...and the quality seems really good, with smooth gliding and nice clean clicks into place for locking the length into place.
