Worked great and it fit in a tight place where I needed it

Pump works great

I had to replace a pump that drained the sump from the ice chests and cabin sink. The sump was designed around an old style Rule 500 GPH bilge pump. The basket screw positions were fixed and the output hose position was molded into the sump. The newer Rule 500 GPH does NOT have the same basket position and the output hose barb is longer than the old style. This pump fit exactly in the old Rule basket and the hose barb was in exactly the right position. The only problem is that the pump is about 1/2 inch taller than the old one. Fortunately that sump had enough clearance for the lid to fit over the slightly taller pump. Since I've only tested it and had it installed for a couple of weeks, I cant speak to the reliability, but it doesn't matter. This only drains the ice chests and the cabin sink, so if it fails the water ends up in the bilge and is drained by the main bilge pump anyway..

Worked good. Easy install

I am only using this to replace the aerator pump in my live well on my bass boat. Installed fine and seems to be ok. We'll see how long it holds up but since I don't run the aerator more than 5 minutes at a time, I suspect it should work fine. Much cheaper than replacing the original Attwood pump.
