Stinky, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE
My bearded dragons absolutely LOVE these. I'm really happy I got these too because one of my beardies is horrible with hunting live crickets (the second they stop moving he will think it disappeared and move on and can't catch any for the life of him 🥴), so using these freeze-dried ones helps so so so much. And there is so freaking much stuffed into that bag that I haven't even gotten halfway through it yet and I've had it for at least a month now. I highly highly recommend this! The only thing is you absolutely need tongs for these so you can pick them up, and they freaking STINK, but it's expected because they're crickets 😂 But I highly recommend these. They've made feeding my bearded dragons all the easier hands down 🙌🏻

Stunk and beardie hated them
When I opened the bag, I noticed these reeked immediately. Honestly, I was happy the bag worked well for keeping that stench inside. I figured it was just cricket smell and maybe because they were fresher or more natural, it'd be fine, and my bearded dragon would love them. Or at least more than the Walmart brand of dried crickets. She took a bite and spit them out. I didn't know that they COULD spit things out once they were trying to eat, and I had certainly never seen her do it. Needless to say, she actively despised them and would spit them out any time she was handed them. I ended up giving them to someone else because she went on a hunger strike until I gave her the Walmart brand again. I think they ended up getting either thrown to the birds or thrown away.

Great Value and Time Saver for our Bearded Dragon
Can’t comment personally on the flavor, but our 2.5 year old bearded dragon (Taquito) loves them. We got tired of losing money on the live crickets that would perish (and making the frequent trips to the store). I know Taquito prefers the live crickets, and I love to watch the hunt, but he also likes these just as much. I do soak them for about 5 minutes in water so that he can get the water intake that he needs. I also will spray them with a calcium spray before serving. He likes them well enough. Between these and the Super Worms, he is a large, healthy Central Bearded Dragon. If you do not soak them, and your dragon’s water intake from Veggies/normal drinking is minimal, the poops are very dry and interesting. that’s what prompted the soaking, and that really seems to have kept things more “regular”. Taquito is pretty much a full-grown male, adult bearded dragon. With the size of these crickets, I would not recommend them for a growing beardie. Maybe this company has smaller sizes, but these are large crickets. Next up is getting him a larger habitat!!!
