Dual Power Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor, 12V DC & Battery Air Pump

I bought this air inflator based on its design, features, and reviews as well as its ranking in new releases best seller list. This is my second purchase of an air inflator as I recently had an episode of needing to inflate my car tires while on the road, so I decided to keep an air inflator in both my and my wife’s car. I decided to buy a different product this time as I am not sure about the long-term performance of either air inflator and wanted to minimize my risk following the portfolio approach in finance! This air inflator is a high quality product and worked very effectively, exactly as advertised. Specifically, I inflated four tires on my BMW iX with a full battery charge on the inflator. Each tire on the car was measured by this inflator to be 3-5 psi less than the required inflation on the car. I also inflated the two tires on my e-bike using this air inflator. Based on these two experiences, following are my impressions as of now. I will update my review if this product fails to live up to my expectations. First, this inflator is built very well and not only looks strong and sturdy but it actually is. It feels quite substantial but it is not too heavy as can be seen from the attached pictures. The product finish is also good all around which set an initial expectation of high quality. This quality expectation was fully met and reinforced further after my actual use shown in the attached videos and the writeup below. Second, I wanted to buy a tire inflator which had the option of a battery so I can use it for inflating my bike tires without having the need to connect the inflator to the 12V lighter outlet on a car (you don't always have a car nearby when you are biking!). However, I also wanted to have the flexibility of using the car battery for inflation just in case the battery on this inflator is out. Also, I feel there should be an option of using the car battery as inflating car tires may require more battery power than the internal battery can provide. So far, I have not had the need to use the external power, but wanted to have the option. This inflator provides both options, which I found very useful as many other inflators don’t provide the option of dual source power. Third, the inflation tube is well designed and screws on to the body of the inflator easily. The valve on the other end is also high quality and attaches to the valve stem on the tire without any difficulty. When the tires inflates to the set value, which you can customize, the valve detaches very easily without the tire losing any inflation in the process as sometimes happens with other valves when being taken off the valve stem on the tires. Fourth, I was truly surprised with the low level of noise on this inflator as it is even lower than the sound level on my other inflator, which itself is quite reasonable. The two videos I am posting here show how quiet and effective this inflator is in inflating the large tires of an SUV as well as the smaller tires of an e-bike. Fifth, each of the four tires on my car took between one and two minutes. The e-bike tires inflated in less than a minute. Both the speed of the inflation and the air flow are superb. Sixth, after inflating four car tires, I still had two out of three bars showing on the battery charge indicator on the unit. This indicates that the built-in battery has a lot of juice! Seventh, the inflator did not get too hot even after inflating four tires, each of which had to be inflated between 3-5 psi. It remains to be seen whether the inflator will get hot if more tire inflation is needed. Eighth, I definitely needed a carry bag to carry the unit with the inflation tube and the other accessories with me in my cars. This product comes with a high quality carrying bag which efficiently stores the unit and all attachments in it, as shown in one of the pictures I am uploading.. Finally, I have used this product twice so far to inflate tires on my car and my e-bike. So far, I have found this product to be immensely useful!

Unlike another inflator that I tried and returned, my first tryout of this inflator was very positive. Easy to use, accurately measures PSI for its display and auto shut off, and compact. I was running it off its battery. Added air to vehicle tire pretty quickly. Has plenty of extra nozzles to handle inflating different things. I initially thought the hose was too short because one usually would not be able to lay it flat on the floor/ground, but that turned out not to be a problem. It's light enough to easily hang from the tire valve without disconnecting. I'm glad it can run on 12 v cord, but didn't test that yet. Don't know how long it takes to recharge it fully if run down. But for a first try, this is the right one.

I really do like this. It's convenient to use, when it's charged. It has setting for car, scooter, and bicycle tires. It has a nice light on it. I can easily take it with me in my bike bag. My only concern is sometimes it won't start as if the battery is dead, but when I plug it in it shows its charged. I keep it on the charger for a while anyways and it works the next time I use it. It seems to loose charge if I leave it in the car or house unused for a while. It is pretty loud but not a problem when used outside. It vibrates enough to bother my hands if I hold it. It will scratch easily from the vibrations if you leave it on the ground while it's filling the tire, so I try to set it on something to cushion it. It is a fair price for the convenience. It pumps up my bicycle tires in a less than two minutes, usually in just seconds if they are just low. I like the auto shut off feature a lot. It has a weight to it that makes me think its pretty sturdy.

Great rechargeable portable air compressor! So handy and compact! You program your tire's psi and hit start. It stops automatically and won't reinflate. We bought it for our bikes but have used it on automobile tires as well. Great deal for the price!

So far this thing is awesome... I've had it maybe 2 months now. I use it on my fat tire ebikes. I adjust tire pressure periodically for on/off road riding. Since a full charge, I've used it probably a little over half a dozen times to reinflate from low pressure to high pressure and the battery indicator still shows full bars. And... it's powerful it inflates quickly and with ease, nearly as good as my large Milwaukee m12 inflator, but it fits easily into my bike bag, it really only slightly bigger and heavier than my hand held inflator, and it's been reliable so I choose this every time. Great price as well! Love it so far!

I bought this for my motorcycle. My current pump was big and required a cigarette lighter for power. I have a HD Ultra, so I have a cigarette outlet, but it was a pain trying to get everything hooked up. This inflator is compact, powerful and easy to use. BIG upgrade over my previous set up. I also have a motorcycle trailer. The cord to my old inflator was not long enough to inflate my trailer tires while still connected to my truck. This inflator will top off all my trailer tires and use almost no battery. I also purchased the MotorCare TPMS so I can easily monitor my tire pressure. You can find them on Amazon, another 5 star product.

Honestly for the money. It’s super good. A lot of people complain about the battery life but for me. It worked perfectly fine. I filled up my two motorcycle tires as well as help Top. My brothers for car tires up and it lasted probably around 20 minutes plus and didn’t even go down one bar. It doesn’t take long off to fill up the tires. My only complaint is if you said it to. Let’s say for example, 35 PSI after you take it off. If you’re not really quick with it. You’re gonna go down at least one PSI or a half a PSI, so I’d recommend going up one PSI. Then what you wanna be at. So if I wanna be at 35. I’ll go up to 36. The auto showed off is super great. It’s really accurate. I tested it with not only a pencil tire pressure checker, but a digital one. And they all read within one PSI of each other, so pretty didn’t good cord length. I want it to be a little bit longer. It’s not super long little less than a foot, but honestly, it’s not that much big of a deal. If you can’t hold a pump up for two minutes, three minutes or stuffed in the wheel well and let it pump up the air. Then that sounds like a new problem. Not a product problem. It’s supposed to be easy to carry. You don’t wanna be caring around a long cord with you. Honestly, I would buy another one. I’d even recommend my family to buy some.
