Fab, rechargeable and works with Concept PM5 monitor
My hubby had an old Polar strap but he kept having issue with the battery expiring after one use. It was important that a new HR strap would work with his Concept PM5 monitor and this one does perfectly. It recharges via a usb and lasts a few rows. He reported that it did pinch a bit, but he thinks that’s the way he wears it and maybe it needs slacking off a little. Great buy though.

Great HR monitor, lets see if it lasts...
I think this is my 4th or 5th heart rate monitor, and by far the most expensive, build quality seems good, it's charged with standard Garmin charger so shares same as my fenix watch (which is good). I like the way the strap works as compared to cheaper models from other manufacturers, HR seems to align well with my watch and is comfortable to wear...so far so good, let's see how long it lasts, typically these things don't last more than a year with me :(.

Much better now you detach and charge
My Garmin HRM Pro died, I suspect because swear got into the battery compartment after changing it, so it's good to see that this model is rechargeable. So far it seems more accurate on HRM than the previous version and the metrics seem accurate. Good idea being able to detatch it from the strap for cleaning. Quite light but the strap needs something with more grip against the skin, especially at the back.

Great HRM with data for miles!
Fantastic unit. I've owned previous HRM straps - still have the Pro Plus. But this is equally as good with better connectivity. It stays connected with my Garmin watch/head unit. I haven't yet tried the HRM-only mode though. Expensive? Yes. But if you like data, and train with hearth rate, this is the dogs danglies.

Battery Life Not
Something not right and I think it is always on . A quick chat with Amazon andxa replacement unit now, all good although I haven't tried self recording yet.

Better than watch HR by a mile for intervals
Wanted a chest strap for a few years, when this came on offer I took the punt. Already made my interval workouts so much more accurate and therefore less error in training plans. As for the device compared to other models, accuracy and fit and all much of a muchness I think, but having a rechargeable battery is nice in the short term, will have to see how it holds up over time. I bought the higher model for its extra tracking features (swimming, treadmill pace etc) and so far so good, it has done what I wanted it to do. If you've been thinking of getting one, just do it.

Very good. Watch out for connection mode switch
Easy to fit, sits well. Stats are good for running. (Waiting for season to start to test in a team sport without wearing watch.) Had an initial problem with auto-connect after first pairing… watch and phone are on different connection type so be careful of which is actually connected.

Pahalı ve ergonomik değil.
Fiyat olarak pahalı. Ürün orta kalite tak sök işlemi uğraştırıyor. Daha kompak bir ürün olabilirdi.

Rock-Solid Heart Rate Accuracy for Serious Training
If you train with intention — structured workouts, zones, long sessions, and consistency — heart rate accuracy matters. The Garmin HRM 600 is built exactly for that kind of athlete: someone who wants reliable data, zero distractions, and seamless integration with their training ecosystem. This is not a flashy gadget. It’s a dependable tool that quietly does its job and lets you focus on the workout, not the device. ⸻ ✅ Pros 1) Excellent heart rate accuracy This is where the HRM 600 shines. Compared to wrist-based sensors, the data is: • more stable • more responsive to intensity changes • consistent during intervals and long steady efforts For tempo runs, long rides, and structured sessions, the readings feel trustworthy. 2) Stable connection and seamless pairing Pairing with Garmin devices is instant and hassle-free. Once connected, it just works: • no dropouts • no random spikes • no constant re-pairing You forget it’s there — which is exactly what you want. 3) Comfortable for long sessions The strap is secure without being restrictive. Even during long workouts or races, it stays in place and doesn’t cause irritation, which is crucial if you’re wearing it for hours. 4) Reliable across multiple sports Whether you’re running, cycling, or doing brick sessions, the HRM 600 delivers consistent data. It’s especially useful for triathletes who want continuity across disciplines. 5) Built for training, not tinkering There’s no unnecessary complexity. No constant adjustments. No overthinking. You put it on, start the session, and trust the data. ⸻ ⚠️ Cons 1) Chest straps aren’t for everyone If you strongly dislike wearing anything around your chest, this may take some getting used to — even though comfort is good. 2) Not a “nice-to-have” for casual athletes If you train purely by feel or run casually, this might be more than you need. The real value shows up when you train with structure. 3) Premium ecosystem, premium price You’re paying for accuracy, reliability, and Garmin integration — not for novelty features. ⸻ Wrap Up: Is the Garmin HRM 600 Worth It? If heart rate zones matter to your training and you care about accurate, stable data, the Garmin HRM 600 is absolutely worth it. It delivers exactly what it promises: reliable performance without drama. This is the kind of product that doesn’t try to impress you in the first five minutes — but earns your trust over months of consistent use. Overall: a serious training tool for athletes who value accuracy, simplicity, and dependable data.
