The Most High God: A Commentary on the Book of Daniel

I cannot recommend this book highly enough. If all Biblical commentaries were written like this, I would obtain a copy in relation to each and every single book of the Bible. The author provides a clear, concise and non-technical Biblical teaching and exposition of the Book Of Daniel which covers vast areas of God's plan for human history, past, present and future. We owe it to ourselves to be aware of the teachings outlined in this book. They are crucial to our understanding of the times in which we live and the events that we are shortly to face. This book will be read and re-read time and time again.

Very formative Regarding the book of Daniel. Easy to understand the book of Daniel much better. Author does a very good with helping me as I read through Daniel in the Bible.

This is an excellent study of the book of Daniel. Renald Showers explains the text very well and brings out the fulfillment of what is now history and that which is yet to come! I have read it twice and bought this copy for a friend who wants a challenging study. This is it.

This is a thorough and well documented detailed discussion of Daniel's 70th Week. I am very imprerssed with Renald Showers with this and 2 other books. He presents his and also opposing views with viable and credible detailed explanations as to "why or why not" those views should be considered based upon Scripture taken "in context" and balanced along historical writings and meanings of phraseology drawn from Rabinical teachers.

Some typos but good overall, I found the illustrations helpful as well. If you're interested in biblical prophecy I recommend it.

Best book on Daniel I know of. Sad Showers is stuck in the false pre-trib rapture theology, but this doesn't harm his commentary on Daniel put forth here. The most exciting revelation Showers shares is that the anti-Christ will oppose all religions. This debunks many of the common false teachings. By this we know that the spirit of the anti-Christ is working in agnosticism. The radical Muslims are hardening man's hearts to religion. This plays right into Satan's end game. This is a must read of for any student of things to come.

One of the best I have read on this subject, with the added advantage of being easily read and not too intimidating for those who want the information but are not great readers.

An excellent commentary on Daniel that is True to The Word and easily followed. Linked with cross references from other Scriptures , and Historical fact, it proves Daniel's prophecy 100% correct. It clearly shows that Almighty God is in Control, with clear warnings for the Gentile nations for the Last Days. I would recommend this book to any Bible scholar.

My friend and I led a Bible study on Daniel for our church. We stuck to the first few chapters, and it went well, but I wanted to know more, and was lent this book. I really liked it. It was well laid out, well explained, but with so much study potential I soon bought my own copy. Controversial too.
