Good brace with lots of support
This is a good brace for minor & major ankle sprains. I sprained my ankle so bad that I fractured a small bone at the top of my foot and these worked great for me during the recovery period. The support elements are very rigid and firm, but that's probably a good thing and there are enough ways to adjust and rewrap to make them comfortable enough for me to use them 8-12 hrs at a time.

Best ankle brace ever
This has been the best ankle brace ever. I broke my ankle and ordered this brace while I was still in the boot. Started wearing this brace as soon as I was cleared to switch from a boot to a brace, and it has been a game changer. I use it during any form of exercise, specifically while coaching basketball practices. I truly believe that this brace has saved me from any further injuries during said practices. I also used to wear it everyday after my injury. The support on it is amazing, but still flexible enough to be able to move on the court, at work, while driving, etc. Another added bonus is that it fits inside any shoe (I have to loosen laces a bit, but still fits well and isn’t uncomfortable). I would highly recommend this brace to anyone with any sort of ankle injury.

Great product for mild to moderate sprains
This brace offers adjustable compression, support & mobility. It's worn over a sock & comfortable when adjusted correctly. It doesn't make your ankle sweat like an elastic bandage does. I wear a size 9 wide shoe, & the medium brace just fit over my athletic sock. I would say if your a size 9 1/2 or more get a size large. A little intimidating at first with all the straps, but once you put it on a few times it's easy. It's basically an open toe high-top sneaker without the sole. The rubber side support straps still allow your foot to roll, so if you need complete immobilization for a severe sprain or fracture, you'll need wear a walking boot until you heal enough to use this brace. This is an affordable, well-designed, & quality made product that I would buy again & recommend for mild type 1 to moderate type 2 ankle sprains.

Side Supports are too Flexible post Muscle Tear & Didn't fit in Sneakers
I bought this after a serious sprain w/muscle tear as I was instructed to transition from a medical boot to an over the counter, store bought ankle stabilizer. The side parts that are to stabilize the ankle are thick, flexible rubber similar to a rubber luggage tag or thick shock absorbing phone case. You can bend them about 50% of the way in half & it becomes slightly more flexible as it warms from your body heat. I thought these side rubber parts would be a stiffer rubber or have a plastic core to make them more ridged than they actually are. During a 2hr trial period on flat ground indoors, I felt my ankle near to rolling again several times; still it did provide more compression support than the popular 3 letter brand stabilizer sold in most walk-in stores. Overall, this one is too flexible for my needs & would be better to prevent injury or use after a minor sprain. I found the FIT OKAY. Fit well around my ankle but the top part is not any wider than the bottom, so the laces did not pull tight enough for the Velcro to reach the other side where it Velcro's fast (a common issue I run into w/these quick Velcro tighten lace type ankle braces). I had to Velcro the top lace strap to the mesh, fabric tongue, which will wear down this fabric faster over time. It did hold that way pretty well though. The top strap that goes around the leg after that, I was able to Velcro properly, but it still should have been a longer strap. If you have thicker legs you may need to go up a size. The Velcro on all straps holds really well and is not rough to the touch. It's a bit annoying to put on because the side rubber supports are on long straps, so the Velcro part got caught on the couch, carpet, or my pants as I tried to tighten the Velcro laces. It's nice that you can align the rubber supports slightly more up-down or left-right to best support your individual shaped/placed ankle (instead of it being a static one size fits most support alignment). I found that this brace DID NOT FIT IN MY SNEAKERS; my sneakers are well worn in & loose around the back too. I still have to wear Crocks with this brace like I do the kind with metal support rods in them. Stitching looks good and the material is comfortable.

Excellent for ankle stability!
Great product! Very well made and built to withstand miles of walking! I have what the orthopedist has called “loose ankles.” I’m 66 years old and love to walk 4-5 miles a day. As I got further into my walking program I began to struggle with my feet trying to turn out. I’ve always been one who supinates when walking (weight goes to the outside of the foot as it rolls outward) and this became even worse as I increased my daily mileage. So I was desperate to find a brace that would provide strong outside support vertically up the sides of the ankle to keep me from rolling out. BINGO! This brace has done it all and it has allowed me to continue my walking regimen with no setbacks! It’s well worth the money if you’re looking to provide support for your ankles!

The Undisputed Champion of Ankle Braces—Slim, Easy, and Powerful.
If I could give this 20 stars, I would! Out of all the different braces I’ve bought for my ankles, this one is hands down the #1 winner. I put these through the ultimate 'workhorse' test: shoveling the driveway and sidewalks, mowing the lawn, and walking 15 miles a day in the snow while my ankles were in serious pain. These braces were the only thing that got me through. They work perfectly and, most importantly, they are not bulky at all. They are very easy to put on and assemble right out of the box. One quick tip: After a couple of months of heavy use and washing, the Velcro on the straps does weaken slightly, but they still work perfectly fine for me. I’m so impressed that I’m actually buying a few more pairs. If you’re looking for the best support without the extra weight, these are it!

These give the illusion of support
Update: The seller reached out and offered a full refund (I had already returned it so I kindly let them know I didn't need one) after reading my review. I think that shows they care about their customer satisfaction, which I value greatly. 5 stars for customer service. All these braces made of rubber and velcro basically just give you the illusion of support; your foot feels secure because it's tight, but try to bend your ankle and you'll see how you can easily roll it. This will not prevent injuries or treat them; one wrong step and you're done. If you want to "feel better" mentally, then go ahead, but if you're seriously trying to prevent injury, then make a habit of wearing calf-or-ankle-height boots, your feet are less likely to slip off your shoes and therefore roll your ankles. If you're treating a sprained ankle and need to prevent injury while you heal, just get a fracture boot, none of these cute braces will keep you from reinjuring the sprained ankle.

WHCOOL great-brace with great comfort and support.
WHcool slim fit ankle brace perfect exactly what I needed for a sprained ankle which was making it impossible for me to walk. This has a compression sock that I slip on over a small sock that o I already had just for toe and heel and then you need to take your time and put it on so it adjust perfectly be slow and gentle because the means for hooking it up are very very good but not meant to be jerked around there are two lace pulls for the lower foot and the upper foot and I usually do them both at least twice and get the ankle opening centered underneath after I do that I do the other straps around and when I’m finished, it’s a very secure very stable and comfortable brace. I recently also purchased KIZIK high top shoes which the brace easily slips into I bought one brace for each ankle because I was limping so much. I was causing stress on the second ankle that wasn’t sprained. It’s amazing how well I can get around now. I also purchased several other brands which I sent back after trying on because they didn’t provide the secure fit with the comfort. I also have for just short emergencies a little slip on ace bandage, which is helpful if it’s not serious I cannot recommend this brace enough. They really got everything down. Perfect. It has compression. It’s soft. It’s stable and it allowed me to walk when I couldn’t. I wear between an 8 to an 8 1/2 woman’s shoe and the medium was perfect. I also purchased a large, but that was a little too big for me. I sent the large back when I purchased my second medium really a great brace. having had so many different braces in my life I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Looks cumbersome to to put on, but it isn't
Multiple fastening points to support the ankle. The laces are attached to a Velcro strap for fast fitment. The Velcro for the rear of the foot is very strong. The strap around the ankle is also secure by very strong Velcro. In total there are 5 strapping connections to fasten in order to fit the ankle brace. But as all are Velcro fastened, it's a quick process. It provides the most secure ankle support of any ankle brace I have used thus far. It also came with a free ankle sleeve in the package.

Comfortable
This WHCOOL Ankle brace is sold as one unit, it arrived quickly and was nicely packaged. Upon taking it out of the box it immediately felt solid with its velcro straps, and the synthetic materials felt of high quality. I was able to undue the straps quite easily and slip it over my ankle for a nice and snug fit. The two inner laceless straps allow of easy adjustment while the two main straps lock into a figure 8 setup and provide a very nice fit to support my ankle on both the lateral and medial side. The lockdown under foot remained comfortable while wearing it for over two hours playing basketball. I'd highly recommend this ankle brace for its easy of use. Minimal break in time is required for it to conform to your foot. Overall it is a great product.

Supportive, comfortable and easy to wear
I really like the support provided in the brace, it’s supportive without being rigid. The Velcro strapping provides a good level of adjustment to how tight or loose you want it to fit around your ankle, and once adjusted stays in place. I find it a bit snug when wearing it with my winter boots, but it fits fine in my runners, I loosened the laces slightly on my runners to accommodate - but still kept them tight enough to do my interval training. I find it to be fairly breathable, only getting hot when I have been walking for long periods or wearing for an extended period of time with my winter boots. It came with an open toe compression sock, I put this on under the brace when I need some added support, or wear it on it’s own if I am just needing a mild support around the house. I’m very happy with the level of comfort, flexibility and support this has!

Great support
This ankle brace is incredibly sturdy and well constructed. It is easily used and the fabric breathes making it a lot more comfortable to wear. I definitely recommend for anyone who needs extra stability. I really like that it’s pretty lightweight and isn’t bulky so it’s easily worn in a shoe.

Unique lace up style ankle brace
This WHCOOL Velcro Lace-Up Ankle Brace for Sprained Ankle, Slim-Fit Ankle Support provides good support for injured or sprained ankles to help with your recovery. When I first saw the brace I thought that it would be extremely complicated to put on your ankle because of all the lacing and straps but once you know how to do it it is very quick and easy. There are laces on this support but they are not laced like in shoes. The laces do not need to be individually pulled to tighten them. The laces are in 2 two groups and are pulled tight and fastened with Velcro. Two more straps are routed under your heel and fastened on each side and finally 2 straps are wrapped around the top of the brace to keep everything secure. It does seem complicated but after a couple of times it becomes second nature to put it on. The brace provides good stability and is not overly bulky so should be able to fit into your shoe without issue. The interior of the brace has a soft lining. The seller has a free gift included which is an ankle brace compression sleeve. This is a much less supportive brace but is perfect for transitioning from the big brace as your ankle gets better and requires less support. This included ankle sleeve is a great idea. Overall, this brace provides good support while your ankle is healing from an injury or sprain. It is well made and should last a long time. If you are in search of a quality ankle support brace then this product should warrant your consideration. Recommended.
