LEABAGS Sydney genuine buffalo leather duffle bag in vintage style - Black

PROs:1.The bag looks and feels like a good quality product.2. No surprises regarding the size, it's what I was expecting.CONs:1. The color.... the picture of the product is *very* misleading, I order the hell-brown one and what I got is not even REMOTELY close to what you see in the picture. It's dark brown :/ I would normally return it but I don't live in US and transportation alone would cost me a lot.2. It seems the bag can get stained *very* easily. I got mine already stained on a side - see picture.I'd give it 1.5 stars since I don't hate it (1 star) but this brown is so bad that I can't give it 2 stars...UPDATE: the vendor did send me a new bag with the color I initially ordered and this one is indeed a great bag: super quality and very nice color too :)

I have had this bag for a couple of years and love it. Or loved it. The top tore along the sewing and it's not just an easily repairable seam. I would have expected more from something like this.Otherwise it's great. Soft leather and a ton of pockets.

Quite impressive!! Large enough & contains more zippered pockets than expected . The size is more than adequate !! The magnetic lock could be problematic if full otherwise I m glad I bought it.

Great bag for travel

Initially received the bag and was impressed with the quality and construction. However on the very first use the D ring for the shoulder strap broke. The D ring where it attaches the leather ripped and the D ring detached.LEABAGS was great and sent a replacement. However I did not have cause to use the replacement until recently and guess what? First Use the same thing happened. Getting off the plane I put the bag over my shoulder and the D ring detached. I do not believe the bag was too heavy as it was only half full. I like everything about the bag, the look, the (LOOK OF DURABILITY) the size everything EXCEPT for the fact that I cannot use the shoulder strap now and that is REALLY IMPORTANT.I do not believe the bag is still under warranty but I sent LEABAGS a question and will see how they respond. I am also curious of others have had this trouble?I have an update on this review. After telling LEABAGS of my issue with the second bag they were AMAZING. They were willing to send me yet another bag in an effort to make things right. I am VERY impressed with the company, and really appreciate the lengths they have gone to in an effort to make things right. Regardless of the issue with the shoulder strap I cannot fault the company one bit, as they have gone above and beyond to make it right. THANK YOU LEABAGS!

We bought the Sydney bag from Leabags in July 2015. We were impressed with the quality and look of the bag and found the capacity perfect for two people away on a weekend break. We also used it for overnight ferry crossings to Spain.On our latest voyage to Spain we noticed that the handle had started to come apart. On 20 April 16 we contacted Leabags through the link in our Amazon account and expected a wait of several days before they made contact with us. Their representative, Matteo, replied within an hour asking for details of the damage. We send a couple of photographs and he came back with a range of solutions, again within the hour. We agreed a way forward and the replacement bag arrived in Spain today 25 April. This was an outstanding service and deserves to be brought to the notice of prospective buyers. If you buy a Leabag you need not worry about after sales service.

I had one of these bags for 2 years and used it without issue, albeit only a small number of times. Recently, the leather handles came apart from the bag and i returned the bag to Amazon for a refund - great service as always. I purchased a replacement bag which arrived promptly and i thought all was well.I then went on a three day trip to London for work and, within 10 minutes of leaving Euston station, one of the straps tore itself off from the bag. This was literally after 15 minutes of carrying the bag onto the train, off the train, and through Euston station - the bag was brand new!I had to struggle for 3 days carrying the bag by its handle, or using the strap on a lopsided arrangement which was super painful on my back and quite frankly a pain in the backside. I am returning this second bag and do not know whether i will buy another one. I very much like the design of the bag as it is huge inside, looks good, and is comfy to carry when it works.Nobody should have to have a bag with a broken strap after such a short period of time. I hope this was simply a one off, but i am not convinced.Leabags, if you are reading this: Make your bag more durable! Improve the straps. Improve the stitching. Make one with wheels so you don't need a strap!In my experience these are not made to the highest standard and leave much to be improved. I suspect i will buy another one as a replacement, but only through Amazon as i know they have me sorted if the bag goes wrong again.Don't buy unless you have to!

This bag is superb for world travel if you are traveling light. The main focus of this review is to report the outstanding customer service from Leabags. One clip on the shoulder strap was broken in transit on trip to India. On my return I emailed Leabags and got a reply within 20 minutes, a complimentary replacement was delivered within 24 hours from Germany. Matteo...take a bow!

This really is a quality item. I am very pleased with it for the price I got it in the lightning sale. Perfect size for a long weekend away. Quality leather, stitching, lining and pockets both internal and external. I think this was a great investment as a bag I expect will last me many years and I travel a lot.
